Chapter 5 Un-Della is just fine

Darling returns to Gaggit class the next day to finish the fight bot, Darling deep in consultation as the lunch bell go's, but she pays no mind as Keller comes into the room, Gaggit asked hesitatingly
"Keller.. can I have lunch with her please? "
Keller looks to Darling, then to Gaggit asking back codly, but no ill
"Why? because she's Un-Della"
Gaggit node's saying
"Yah, I'm sure Sol covered it, but she had a moment lest say yesterday, I don't want her to end up like me"
Keller pulled out his phone, sending a message before saying
"Max is getting Banh Mi, I'll bring yours down with hers"
Turning on his heal, leaving the pair be, Gaggit walked over to Darling looking at her papers before asking softly
"Gees kido, are you trying to make me look bad?"
Darling finished tightly her screw before saying
"Maybe I'm just that good"
Gaggit snots a laugh saying
"I'm glad to see you got your daddy's Sass"
Keller Reuters only says as he puts lunch down with drinks
"I'm having lunch with bear, stay"
Kissing the top of Darling head and leaving once more, Darling titles her head to the side, looks to Gaggit asking curustly
"Are you with the family Gaggit?"
Not taking pause as she starts her lunch after a moment of both munching at there rolls Gaggit said
"No kido, I got my hero licence revoked because my Della isn't hero based, even tho I did the classes, that was American tho, Raven called a week after, brought me hear before I ended on the streets"
Darling finished her bite saying sweetly
"You don't have a family?"
Gaggit brokenly smiled saying
"I only had a dad, after we found out I couldn't be a hero, he Suacide, he couldn't pay the school and house, we had no means of making the money we needed, he lost hope"
Darling gently touch her scared throat saying solmly
"My sperm doner though I was nothing, I'm never being usless because of others, I'm small now, but I'll be fearless and when I'm older I'll be powfull, can you help me senpie, to be the hero no one though off"
Gaggit let's a tear roll down his cheek putting down his roll hugging Darling sideways saying sweetly
"Jericho, just Jericho and yes I'll help"
Darling beems a sweet smile saying happily
"Then let's finish our lunch, I need to grow and you need to stay sharp!"
Gaggit giggles saying
"I got a feeling kido your going to teach me more"
Darling just giggles as both finished there lunch and back to work, the following week was match week for the fighting bots, the battle definitely showed great talent amongst his class, but as Gaggit said, Darling won in a landslide, only Gaggit's bot almost winning, but a cunning blow from Darling's bot made the win, he is so proud, only saying to the shocked students
"Yah, you got your ass kicked by a 4 year old, think about that"
Darling couldn't help but giggle by his side, genuinely happy, genuinely looking forward to the future, to the wonders of tomorrow.
