Prologue

On the first day of October, 1984, forty-three women around the world simultaneously gave birth.

This was unusual due to the fact none of these women were actually pregnant when the day first began.

Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and playboy adventurer, made it his personal mission to find and adopt as many of these children as possible.

He got eight of them.

1. Y/n and Five are NOT related by blood, so it's not incest. Their childhood is complicated, and they don't really see one another as siblings, since they have a robot mum, a talking chimpanzee and obviously their old-looking ahh dad.

2. I changed Fives' age, so he's not an actual grandpa bc ain't no way I'd let an old guy hit🙅‍♀️ Also, Five is now 16 when he comes back for certain reasons.

3. I'm writing this just for fun, just in my spare time. I'm not an actual writer nor am I a proper editor, so this book may be absolute dog shit. I am sorry in advance😭

4. This is purely fictional, and I just have a huge thing for Five.

5. The Umbrella Academy and its plot do not belong to me!! They belong to their rightful owners.

6. I have only tweaked the story slightly and added my own character, (Y/n, you, me, whoever you want to imagine). I might add scenes and/or take some away.

7. I will be writing this in Y/ns POV. I may change it from time to time, but I'll be sure to tell you guys, so you don't get confused.

8. There will be violence, drug misuse (Klaus), and maybe exposure to sexual themes later on in the story.

9. I don't want Five and Y/n to just get married and have 3 lovely kids in the first chapter, so they will have a kind of love/hate relationship.

10. I do plan on finishing this book and not abandoning it whether anyone reads it or not.

11. English isn't my first language!! So PLEASE if there are any mistakes just let me know in the comments, and I'll be sure to fix them.

12. After I've finished this book I do plan on going back to the start and editing it fully.

13. I'll be doing all the seasons as different books just so it's a little neater and easier to read.
