Arabella tightened her grip on the steering wheel as she navigated the winding road to the Salvatore house. The early morning mist clung to the trees, casting ghostly shadows that seemed to reach out towards her. She shivered involuntarily, trying to shake off the feeling that someone, or something, was watching her.

It had been months since the incident, but the sense of unease hadn't left her. Damon and Stefan had imposed strict rules to keep Elena safe, and Arabella had taken it upon herself to ensure her friend's safety as well. As she approached the imposing gates of the Salvatore house, she could see Elena's silhouette waiting in the doorway.

Elena's face lit up with a mixture of relief and apprehension as she hurried to the car. "Morning," she said, sliding into the passenger seat. "Thanks for the ride, as always."

"Morning, Elena," Arabella replied, forcing a smile. "Ready for another thrilling day of high school?"

Elena chuckled softly. "As ready as I'll ever be. It's just...being out here still feels strange."

"I know," Arabella said, starting the car. "But we'll be careful. Damon and Stefan wouldn't let anything happen to you."

As they drove, Arabella couldn't shake the feeling that they were being followed. She glanced at the rearview mirror, half-expecting to see a dark figure lurking behind them. The trees along the road seemed to close in, their branches twisting like skeletal fingers.

"Do you feel that?" Elena asked suddenly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Arabella nodded. "Yeah. It's like...someone's watching us."

Just then, a deer darted across the road, causing Arabella to swerve sharply. Heart pounding, she managed to bring the car to a stop on the shoulder. Both girls sat in stunned silence for a moment, the adrenaline still coursing through their veins.

"That was close," Elena said, her voice trembling.

"Too close," Arabella agreed. She scanned the woods, looking for any sign of danger. "We need to stay alert."

When they finally arrived at school, Arabella's nerves were still on edge. She watched as Elena joined her classmates, trying to blend in despite the ever-present threat looming over them.

Arabella felt someone or something watching her throughout all her lessons but everytime she looked outside nothing was there. She had a pit in her stomach too like it was quiet, it was too quiet considering there was 1 maybe even 2 originals in town.

Bonnie had also harnessed the power of a 100 dead witches, which wasn't creepy at all. She had contacted the witched that worked with Elijah and they had told her that if she could channel enough power she could kill Klaus.

Later when it was lunch Arabella needed to be alone but she also needed to keep an eye on Elena, her and Bonnie were the only two who stood a chance against an original. So she sucked it up and just sat down at their usual table.

They were in the middle of a conversation when she heard something, it sent shivers right down her spine.

"We need to talk." She looked at Caroline who had a distraught look on her face which told the young vampire that she heard it too. Stefan acted completely normal so he probably didn't hear anything. The 2 young vampires looked behind Arabella because that's where the voice came from.

"Stefan, can you look after Elena with Bonnie. I need to talk to Care real quick." They all looked a bit confused but he nodded and Bonnie too so the 2 young vampires went outside to see where the voice came from. They both heard it so it couldn't have been an hallucination.
