Claire's P.O.V

I could see the planet Carnelian had told me about. Earth. If I made it there, I would be safe. I would be welcomed. I then heard an alarm blaring. "Warning. Fuel cell has been compromised. Ship's engine will now shut down" some electronic voice said. Whatever had hit the ship earlier, must have caused the fuel to leak. Soon, the ship was falling through Earth's atmosphere at a rapid rate. I smashed the glass with my super strength, breaking it. I jumped through through the broken glass, getting scratched. I slammed into the ground. The ship crashed onto me, knocking me unconscious.

(15 minutes later)

When I woke up, my whole body stung like fire. My clothes were now rags, filled with rips and tears, revealing too many cuts and bruises to count. There were two cliff walls in front of me, filled with oddly shaped holes. In front of me, the ship was nothing but rubble, which meant there was no way of I could fix it. On the cliff walls, there were these strange machines. When I tried to get up, my left ankle filled with excruciating pain. I stood on my right ankle. Slowly, I dragged my left foot, as though it were dead weight. I made my way into one of the strange holes. I put my knees up my chest, wrapped my arms around my knees, and rest my head against the smooth rock wall beside me. I could feel myself going unconscious. I tried to fight the looming darkness, but in the end, I knew I couldn't win. I let the cold, lonely darkness overtake me. But before I lost consciousness, I saw a small bit of blue light, and heard loud voices echoing nearby.
