Water Drop

„Chloe, I see you are kind of bored at home. Want to go somewhere?" He asked and I looked at window...In them I saw Zayden waving at me.

„And where?" I asked and he scratched his head.

„It's a surprise, what do you think?" He asked and I laughed.... and to think that just a few months ago I wanted to be as far away from him as possible....

„If it's bad I'm going to kill you." I said and he laughed and hung up, moments after which I got a message.

ZAYDEN:

You have 15 minutes, outside my house.

I briefly liked his message and quickly changed into different clothes took my power bank and ran downstairs. I said goodbye to my Parents and walked in front to Zayden's where he was already waiting in a fired-up car....

„Wow, I thought, I'm going to have to deal with you on a motorbike". I said and looked at him. „Anyone else joining us or is it just going to be us?" I asked and he shook his head.

„I thought maybe you should have an explanation, when I said that I would be free soon anyway." He said and I nodded. „There are some drinks in that cupboard, take whatever you like, there's a couple in there." He said, and when I opened it, I saw a lot of... I decided I would just take plain orange juice in a carton.

„Orange juice? Yuck." he said quietly, and I smacked his hand.

„Watch your mouth you apple man..." I said annoyed, it was obvious that orange was better. There was nice music on that was giving summer vibes. I looked at him confused, because why he wasn't telling me anything yet? I think he wanted to do it on the spot... I just started looking out of the window looking at today's nice weather.... I could literally feel the vibe of summer even though it was spring, we were just chilling together, but after about two hours I looked at him annoyed.

„Zayden where are we going, we've already been on the road for so long and we'll still have to come back..." I said and he laughed.

„We are about to have a bite to eat somewhere here, the road is still going to take some time, so if you are going to complain like that, you better go to sleep, it will be best for you and for me." He said sticking out his tongue, I got pissed and closed my eyes, after a short while I somehow fell asleep, I didn't even try, I just wanted to sleep in the sun... At one point, towards the end of our journey, Zayden woke me up and when I got up and looked around... I noticed similar areas... I looked at him surprised and he opened the car for me.

„Are you going out or do you want to stay in the car all day?" He asked and I got out quickly and when I did Zayden closed the car. „Follow me." He said and we started to turn into streets that Alison and I had never run down before as kids.... At some point we started to go into more deserted areas, there were a lot of plants here. As we made our way through all the leaves and weeds, we found ourselves in a deserted cemetery.... I looked at Zayden a bit scared.

„Chloe, calm down I'm not going to kill you, I think." He said and winked at me, there was the only grave in the middle which had an undamaged headstone and a couple of fresh flowers placed on the grave, mostly chrysanthemums.... In front of the gravestone was a small bench to sit on, Zayden showed me to sit down.

„Chloe, meet my older sister Anastasia, she was a mermaid like me only she was the real one." He said quietly and I looked at a small family photo of their parents and just the two of them.... I looked sympathetically at Zayden....

„She was very beautiful..." I said quietly and he sat down next to me, smiled slightly, and looked up at the sky.

„Don't worry, it doesn't hurt as much as it used to, it's been 10 years now." He said and I just patted him on the shoulder, I didn't know what to do so I decided to listen to him until the end.
