It was a dark, cold, rainy day. Char and Mia were inside Mia's apartment having a fallout. They  were arguing about something very sensitive to them both. "Well if you don't like it, leave! I didn't want you anyways! I was just with you because Reece told me you needed company! I never  loved you!!! Get that in your head!" Mia snapped and immediately regretted what she said.  Char's eyes widened and teared up. 

She ran out of the apartment, sobbing. Mia immediately went after her. "Char wait! Don't leave! I didn't mean it!" Mia begged. Char was running to fast and by the time Mia got downstairs, she was gone. Mia grabbed her keys and ran outside, yelling for Char. "Char!! Please come back!!!" Mia yells to no avail. She calls all of Char's friends and asks for their help to find her. Later, it was like a full on search party. Everyone was looking for Char. 

Mia was so worried. She really didn't mean to say any of that. She loved Char so much. It was about 9 pm and Char was still missing. Mia and Reece went into the forest and looked there. In the distance, they saw a silhouette of a person, so they went closer. As they got closer, it looked like they were hanging. Reece points the flashlight at them and it was....Char. 

Mia's eyes widened and she ran to her. She used a pocket knife to cut the rope and took her into her arms. Char was drenched in water and her skin was cold to the touch. Mia's eyes tear up. "No...nonononono NO!!!" Mia yelled, holding Char in her arms. Reece called everyone and let them know their whereabouts. In about 15 minutes, everyone was there. They all looked at the now dead Char. Carly, Marjorie and Winter cried softly. Char was their best friend and now she's gone for good. And she was ever so young. 

Mia cried and begged for Char to wake up and she checked her pulse. There was no pulse which got Mia even more scared. "Char wake up! This isn't funny anymore...please!!" Mia begged, shaking the younger's shoulder violently. Mia rushed Char to the hospital. At the hospital, Mia paced around the entire time, she was too stressed to sit down. It's been 3 hours and a nurse finally came in. "Are you Charlotte's family?" She asked. Mia nodded. "Is she okay?...Please tell me she's okay..." Mia pleaded. 

The nurse looked at her sadly and said, "She's gone...we tried everything...I'm so sorry for your loss." Mia's heart dropped. "No...Y-You're lying right?" Mia asked. The nurse shook her head. Mia dropped to her knees and sobbed her heart out. 'No...This can't be...'  She thought and bolted out of the hospital. Reece went after her and saw her staring off the cliff. "Mia...are you okay?" He asked her softly. Then heard soft sobs coming from Mia and he went closer to her and gently embraced her in a tight, but loving hug. 

It was then when Mia just completely broke down in Reece's arms. He  rubbed her back softly, shushing her in the process. "It's alright Mia...sh...it's okay." She fell to her knees again and sobbed her heart out. That's when Marjorie ran out. "Mia! She's awake! It was a false alarm!" Marjorie yelled with happy tears in her eyes. Mia immediately ran into the hospital and into Char's room to see her sitting up eating some pudding. There were quite a few IV's hooked up to her but she was awake and that's all that mattered to Mia. 

 Everyone else left the room and gave Mia and Char their personal space while they talked about the situation that happened not too long ago. "Char, I'm so sorry that I said all of that stuff to you. I didn't mean any of it at all. I promise." Mia assured her. Char looked her in the eyes and saw she was ever so guilty. "It's alright Mia. I forgive you. I'm sorry for making things too drastic." Char said. Mia hugged her softly, trying not to push any IV's. After about a month, Char was discharged and Mia took her home. While she was at the hospital, Mia had been taking care of her kids. They got quite used to her and they started to like her. 

Mia took the kids with her a few times to go see Char at the hospital and they always hung around her. So they had small gifts for Char when she was discharged. 

A few months after that, Mia proposed and they lived happily ever after...
