Encounter

After that day,I didn't speak to Faye or her friends but they used to talk to my friends.One day I was at home and I got an emergency call at the hospital.The prime minister had got an accident and needed an operation .

That day Faye's granny also had a medical checkup .So as I rode my motorcycle 🏍️ to the hospital coz it was quicker than my car I came running as they sent me all the details on my tablet about the P.M ,as i was still focused , the elevator door opened and i didn't even look up to see who where inside so i pressed the floor number and went back to studying the details as i was still inside the lift i got a call from my assistant and told mi Natasha was waiting for me the M.P's daughter was a distant friend of mine I just told her be there in a minute and asked her to grab my gown from my office.

As the lift open Natasha hugged me while sobbing I hugged her back assuring her that everything will be fine as I wore my gown I looked back in the elevator to see Faye,her granny and the friends I bow my head as a sign of respect and headed to the operation room .

After 2 hours the operation was done and as I walked out I found Faye and her friends settled in my office plus Natasha.I walked to Natasha and told her that the operation was done and let her go take some rest first before going to see her dad coz it would break his heart if he saw her like that ,she thanked me with a hug and smiled and she whispered this chick is into you the way she gives death stares every time i hug you i giggled and  told   her to get lost and she left.

After I asked my assistant for the royal granny's results and I smiled I told her no need to worry since the medicine was up to it and in no time she will be ok.She asked if she could invite me to eat lunch with her and before she even finished I declined saying I got a busy schedule.She then said the kid was asking for me and I told her to convey my message to her that I will pick her up on the weekend and have some fun time with her.She asked me to hate her but not her granddaughter.She said she knew that i ignored her message,calls talks and everything about her so i replied that i didn't i was just busy and I take long without having my phone.So as they left I went back to my computer and focused and then as I looked back up I found Faye still settled and asked her if she had any inquiry about her granny.

With her sobbing she asked if she could tag along with the kid on the weekend.I said no and she said I really hate her to that point that she can't  get any little love from me.She asked if I was disgusted by her that much at that moment I forced her to look at me and I wiped her tears gently  and asked her if she would ever stop being a cry baby. And I told her I will think of it and I saw a little smile on her face.

On the weekend I went to pick up the kid at the palace and I didn't enter I just asked the nanny to bring her out and when she came with her she put her inside the car and said they had told her to come along then I told her no need since Faye was going to tag along she smiled and I smiled back as we were still jazzing Faye interrupted with her death stare to the nanny which made her cough and I handed her a bottle of water that I had drunk on and Faye with jealousy grabbed it and gave her a new one and she told her to go as she said bye I asked for her phone number and told her maybe we can jazz later .Faye looked at us and said don't try both of you and I just smiled.

When she sat she asked me if we were going to my house and I said no I asked her why should I bring a stranger to my house she kept calm  but I could see that she was annoyed and as Natasha called I picked her and gave her an update on her father's condition and asked if she could take me out to have lunch and I said yes and that did it Faye couldn't take it any more and she told me to pull over i did so and she just grabbed me and kissed me hungrily and i just looked at her and she said your mine and only mine.I got out of the car coz i was angry and threw some blows to the wall and after i came back and started driving while my hand was bleeding.Faye kept on saying sorry but i didn't talk to her until we came back.

A month passed and I ignored Faye good thing her granny was healed now and I had no time for her.Deep in my heart I knew I loved her but I was just playing  hard to get.So Becca invited me for lunch at her place but as I reached I could see a lot of cars and Faye's car and I knew all the gang was here. As I entered everything went silent and I just went straight to the freezer and got ice cubes.Then came back and said hi.As I sat I told her to spill the beans coz I know her better than this .So she goes Freen and I are dating ,Mon and Sam also are dating,ice and Lux too so I go congrats and they were all shocked won't you ask us the 5 W"when, where,who what and why'' and I told them  "their lives  their ways"and I can't rule their lives. I support wat makes them happy and they were so happy.Then Lux asks Yoko can you also  accept Faye's feelings for you please and I gave her a death stare.I just stood up ready to go and Faye asks do you really hate me that much.I look at her and i tell her i cant love you unless you learn how to love your self.

After that I got busy with my life Faye used to message and  I could ignore .One day I visited tita mummy and tito daddy,as we were having fun those of Becca also came and it was like the old days a family I never had.As we talked they asked if I talked to my parents and everyone was silent coz they knew I never wanted to mention them then tito and tita said they had invited them as I wanted to leave they also reached.

My mother ,dad and grandmother really pissed me off as they sat they started talking about the environment around where I was it was like them saying those of tito were poor and as I wanted to snap, tito held my hand and I calmed down.They asked for drinking water and they gave them water in the jug and my grandma asked if they couldn't afford the packed mineral water and that did it I couldn't take it any more.

I poured the water in anger and I told them these people you call poor are my family ,to me they are more than you, growing up  my grandma never let me forget that I was my mother's biggest mistake and unwanted child I grew up under my mother's shadow coz every time my grandma thought I was out busy throwing myself at boys .

At teen age I was late for my school bus and I decided to walk home but was followed by someone when I called my mom was busy as usual and my granny told me to hurry my ass home but when I called tita and tito they came running anything could have happened that day and none of my family members would care.

I grew up used to your beatings and am good at hiding my pain thanks to you my dad knew i existed but never cared coz i was also his one night stand so if you thought I was gonna get pregnant no worries coz men don't turn me on and I just hate the sight of them you failed as a grandparent,as a mother and as a father so in my life your nothing except being ponds of trash with that I drove my car and left.

At that time I just needed something that could cool my mind something that could help me pass through the night I went to a club and got wasted I called Becca and told her am the unwanted child I hated myself for never  had been loved so she came with the gang and that's the last the I remember.

I woke up to my phone buzzing with messages and as I looked around I couldn't figure out where I was as I tried to open my eyes  wider there she was Faye sleeping so sound next to me with her hand wrapped around my waist.I quietly stood up with a headache and wrote a note thanking her and exited her apartment.

Faye called at around 2 and said we need to talk and I told her I had nothing to talk about but she said if I didn't go she would kill herself.When I reached at our usual cafe ,I still had a slight headache so I came with a mask and glasses on they all looked at me with worry on their faces.
Becca pleaded with me with tears in her eyes never to do that, never to snap, never to get so angry never to leave like that and I just looked at her and nodded which made Mon angry and she said u have  a mouth talk and they where all now looking at me and I just frowned and asked if they were all ganging up on me with their lovers.
As I spoke I turned to Faye and warned her never to threaten me with suicide issues and she smiled then she asked can't I just love her she's ready to face anything with me and I replied my life is a mess the moment you get involved yours will also be messed up so the only way I can keep you safe is by being far from you.So she asked what if she loves the messy me and I smiled and nodded  she then said I finally won .My friends seemed happier than me.So she asked your now my girlfriend and no returns it was the first time I saw her genuine smile as and I just nodded.I told Becca it was our day soon the day we would hangout and play like kids do stuff that made us happy with out giving a damn.
We had really taken years without having fun so she said no meeting , working and fighting it's just us and having fun so we made the deal.
