Scott McCall groaned as he woke up, his head pounding like a bass drum. The last thing he remembered was the wild party they had thrown for Liam Dunbar the night before. He opened his eyes and immediately noticed that he wasn't in his bed but on a hotel room floor, surrounded by the unconscious forms of Stiles Stilinski and Mason Hewitt.
Scott glanced at his watch and his heart skipped a beat. Liam was getting married to Theo Raeken in just three hours.
"Guys, wake up!" Scott groaned, shaking Stiles and Mason awake. "We have a problem!"
Stiles stirred, clutching his head. "What happened last night?"
"And where's Liam?" Mason mumbled, still half-asleep.
Scott's eyes widened in panic. "He's missing!"
The Night Before
The chaos began with what was supposed to be a simple bachelor party. Scott, Stiles, and Mason had planned a night of fun to celebrate Liam's last night of bachelorhood. They started at a local bar, where rounds of drinks quickly turned into a wild, unforgettable night.
After several rounds of shots, the group decided to up the ante. They made their way to a nightclub downtown, where they met a group of rowdy strangers who were more than happy to join the festivities. At some point, Liam, emboldened by liquid courage, got into a heated argument with one of the strangers. Words escalated to fists, and soon enough, a full-blown brawl erupted.
The Arrest
The police arrived, and in the confusion, Scott, Stiles, and Mason found themselves handcuffed and thrown into the back of a squad car. Liam was also arrested and taken to the station. They spent the next few hours in a holding cell, where Mason, still drunk, made out with a random stranger he met in the cell, much to the amusement of the officers on duty.
Fortunately, Scott's dad, the sheriff, bailed them out just before dawn. They stumbled out of the police station, determined to salvage what was left of the night.
The Zoo Incident
In a questionable decision fueled by exhaustion and drunken bravado, the group decided to visit the local zoo, which was conveniently open early for a special event. They somehow managed to sneak in, and things went from bad to worse when Scott, in an attempt to show off his werewolf abilities, ended up in a near altercation with a gorilla.
Zoo security intervened just in time to prevent disaster, and the group was unceremoniously kicked out, much to their embarrassment.
The Lion in the Bathroom
In the hotel room, Scott, Stiles, and Mason woke up to find Liam missing. Scott groggily got up to use the bathroom, only to freeze in shock at the sight of a lion casually lounging in the bathtub.
"Guys, we have a serious problem," Scott called out, trying to keep his voice steady.
Stiles peered into the bathroom and immediately backed away, wide-eyed. "How did a lion get in here?"
"I have no idea, but we need to find Liam and get rid of that lion before anyone else finds out," Scott said, trying to come up with a plan.
The Search for Liam
Scott, Stiles, and Mason hurriedly left the room, deciding to split up to cover more ground. They retraced their steps from the previous night, hoping to find any clue about Liam's whereabouts.
At the nightclub, they found the stranger Liam had fought with. After some tense negotiation and apologies, the stranger revealed that Liam had left with a taxi, heading towards the outskirts of town.
Next, they visited the zoo, hoping that maybe Liam had gone back there. The zookeepers, who remembered the group all too well, were not pleased to see them but confirmed that Liam hadn't returned.
The Lion's Owner
While Mason was talking to the zoo staff, Scott and Stiles returned to the hotel to figure out what to do with the lion. They contacted the hotel manager, who quickly called in an animal control expert. As it turned out, the lion was part of an exotic animal show and had been mistakenly left in the wrong room during a mix-up.
As the animal control team dealt with the lion, Mason called with a lead. He had found out that Liam was at a nearby park, reportedly seen wandering in a daze.
The Reunion
Scott, Stiles, and Mason rushed to the park, finding Liam sitting on a bench, looking surprisingly calm. He had no memory of how he got there but was relieved to see his friends.
"We need to get you ready," Scott said, handing Liam a bottle of water. "You're getting married in less than an hour."
The Altar
With a mixture of relief and urgency, they hurried back to the hotel, where Theo was waiting, worry etched across his face. Liam quickly got dressed, and the group made a mad dash to the wedding venue.
As they burst through the chapel doors, Theo's eyes met Liam's, and all the chaos of the night before seemed to melt away. Liam took his place beside Theo, the love and relief evident in their eyes. The ceremony proceeded without a hitch, the wild night before becoming a story to be laughed about for years to come. Liam and Theo exchanged vows, sealing their love with a kiss, surrounded by friends who had proven their loyalty and love in the most chaotic way possible. At the reception, Theo finally pulled Liam aside, his curiosity getting the better of him. "Am I ever going to learn what happened last night?"
Liam grinned, glancing over at his friends who were laughing and recounting bits of the adventure. "Let's just say it was a night to remember. And we'll tell our kids about it someday."
Theo shook his head, smiling. "As long as you're here with me now, that's all that matters."
As the music started and everyone began to dance, Liam clinked his glass, calling for attention. "To my best friends, who turned the worst hangover into the best adventure. I love you guys."
Laughter and cheers filled the air, and as the night wore on, they celebrated not only the wedding but the unforgettable journey that brought them there. At the reception, Theo finally pulled Liam aside, his curiosity getting the better of him. "Am I ever going to learn what happened last night?"
Liam grinned, glancing over at his friends who were laughing and recounting bits of the adventure. "I'll tell you what I remember, but honestly, a lot of it is still a blur."
Theo raised an eyebrow. "So, you're saying we'll piece it together with stories from Scott, Stiles, and Mason?"
Liam nodded, chuckling. "Pretty much. It was chaotic, but they made sure I made it to you today, and that's what matters."
Theo shook his head, smiling. "As long as you're here with me now, that's all that matters."Liam raised his glass and called for attention. "To my incredible friends, who turned a night of chaos into an unforgettable journey. And to Theo, who makes every adventure worth it. Here's to love, laughter, and many more wild stories together!"
Cheers erupted, and as the night continued, they celebrated not only the wedding but the bonds of friendship and love that had brought them through it all.
