Annie sprang up as she heard the alarm's familiar ring, she dropped herself to her feet and slipped her slippers on with a whirring mind. She was thinking of a worthy strategy to convince Brianna that a simple vacation to Toronto would be of no harm at all. It certainly will not be a difficult task to sit back and relax for a while, even if you study once in a while on vacations, Annie thought that they shouldn't push themselves too hard.

"Annie," Monica smiled as she packed Annie's lunch with a delighted soft smile painted on her gentle face, "Remember, convince Brianna with all your might, I fancy the fact that Brianna would adore meeting your dear friends!" Annie nodded and smiled at the suggestion, she adored to see her friends getting along with each other, that would save Annie quite the trouble.

"I'm trying to convince my boss now..." Monica sighed hopefully, her eyes flickered around nervously, however. Annie did not let that move escape her keen eyes, such that Monica has given Annie's lunch bag to place in her own backpack. She smiled and Annie reluctantly went to drop it off quickly and returned like nothing had happened.

"Save me some trouble, later in the year, you have to pack your own bags and lunch bags!" Monica reminded her of, she remained seated in her seat with another gentle smile, bearing lightness and pureness on Annie, who struggles to escape such. Annie nodded eventually and dropped herself on the chair and began eating, and waiting for Monica. Later, when Monica finished her meal, not much after Annie had, she wrung her wrist and lifted her bag. Annie followed her into the garage and they both advanced to either work or school.

It was a pleasant weather today, the sun beamed in the cloudless sky, the rain had just fallen last night and some new blossoms were spotted by both Annie or Monica. They observed the view intently, even Monica, who occasionally scans the landscape when there is a green light. Annie studied both the driving techniques and the blossoms, she thought it to be wonderful to observe.

"Well, mother, such blooming daisies are truly glamorous," Annie smiled at the landscape, Monica listened with her eyes on the streets, "And, of course, the living creatures are also very lively after the rain!" Monica agreed and nodded as they continued their way to Annie's school, which they eventually reached after a long conversation on their favorite seasons. It always was comforting to talk with her mother in the car about carefree things for Annie.

"Good morning, Brianna," Greeted Annie with excitement, but she denied her thoughts of convincing her just now, "I have something to ask you about later during recess time, please do listen." Annie snatched her notebooks, books, pencil case, homework, lunch bag and water bottle before proceeding in. Brianna was left in deep confusion, yet she placed her outdoor shoes in the locker and changed to her indoor shoes, and also, advanced in the classroom.

It was simply another normal day, with the mere schedule and no events that were particularly interesting, except Oscar picking a fight with Annie and Brianna. Annie simply was enjoying her delicious snack and Brianna was merely doodling on her notebook. However, Oscar had to make trouble, for he was simply a simple-minded being.

"Well, well, what is that, now?" Oscar peered at Brianna's slightly misshapen painting of a panda, Oscar pretended to not know that it was obviously a panda. Brianna didn't take a note of the sarcasm in Oscar's voice and replied like nothing had happened.

"It's a panda." She erased the ears and shaped them again, into a better angle and formation. Oscar gave a queer smile at the painting, Brianna did not see, but Ryan was quickly hurrying behind Oscar, the both of them almost couldn't contain their laughter. Annie could not see the hilarious idea of it, it merely is a panda with overly curved claws.

"Haha! It looked hideous!" Oscar laughed, Annie leaped into Brianna's rescue as she turned to face Oscar and Ryan. Annie defended her with all her might, which, in that case, she was much more ingenious than Oscar and Ryan. They smirked at Annie's sudden outburst and her urge to defend Brianna's honor.

"What now, Mrs. Know-It-All? Is it because your drawing is worse and you are trying to make her drawing better so that yours can also be better?" Annie clenched her jaws and tried her best not to give Oscar a good punch like Osiris would probably do. Brianna looked unhappy, she gave Oscar a rude facial expression.

"I hope your drawing isn't as good, and are you implying you can draw better? " Annie had completely forgotten all her mother's wise teachings and had proceeded to be very much impolite, which was unusual for Annie to act like. Oscar frowned with dishonesty and gave Annie a rude expression in return of Brianna's, however, Brianna decided to join in with the argument, so did Ryan decide to too!

"Well, Oscar, I asked for a tournament, judged by ... .Josephine." Oscar gave a disagreeable frown, that showed his cowardly self, he seemed offended, although he isn't exactly. Brianna nodded to Annie's challenge, but Oscar shook his head and suggested something else. For an unreasonable reason, which Annie sighed to.

"Well, you can bribe Josephine into choosing you! She sits beside you! Let's say Possie and Madeline judge it!" Oscar clapped his hand as he thought that he made a fair judgement, even if he secretly knew that they had been uncontrollably jealous of Annie's talents and intelligence. But, Annie knew that too, so she refused.

"Let's just say Ms. Hurst is the judge of this." Oscar reluctantly agreed, convinced that Ms. Hurst had thought himself to be a better student than Annie, for he thought Annie was an ultimate show-off to everyone. Annie smiled at the agreement and instantly called Ms. Hurst to be the judge of the competition. Ms. Hurst agreed, but told them not to take the choices offensively.

"Alright, we know that everyone has opinions," Annie gave Oscar a false, yet bittersweet smile, "Let's begin..." Ms. Hurst told them to begin with drawing a pumpkin, then an apple and finally a person dressed as a teacher. Annie handled it with slight difficulty, while Oscar simply drew without conviction or erasing anything.

"Oscar, remember, you cannot let your guard off so easily!" Cried Ms. Hurst when he accidentally drew a line flying out of the circle, and ignored it. Oscar groaned and erased some parts for his first time and laid back, tapping the paper with boredom. Annie drew the lines smoothly yet they were perfectly matching together and turning into a beautiful imagery.

"Annaliese!" Announced Ms. Hurst as she looked at the six paintings listing out in front of her, Oscar gasped and cried in horror for a change of opinion. Ms. Hurst ignored his protests and told him her opinions are not wavering. Annie smiled and thanked Ms. Hurst for judging in this competition just right before the bell signaled that it was time for recess.
