After Brianna had helped Annie unpack her things, Annie helped her unpack her things. Meanwhile, Monica and Betty are still talking in low voices, the children did not know, they were too busy next door, but they were planning a dinner. In the end, Monica landed on ordering a dinner and getting it, but Betty said the dinner should be home-made, at that moment, the doorbell rang.

Brianna and Annie were curious, so they went out of their room and peeked for a while. Monica had come to receive the doorbell. When she opened the door, she maintained a sweet smile, it was Beryl, by herself, but it wasn't surprising since Camilla's room was merely in front of theirs. So the girls watching from behind were not surprised.

"Hello, Mrs. Ashlynn," Beryl maintained a frown, Monica waited for her to resume her sentence, "Have you remembered your promise?" She demanded with an impatient tone, Monica almost sighed at this disagreeable child, however smiled and replied in a sweet, gentle voice.

"Yes, Beryl, come in, Annie and Brianna are simply unpacking, however Anna, Isabella and Casper have left in Agatha's care." Monica ushered the girl in and closed the door behind her, Brianna went to greet the girl, Annie merely laid against the doorframe. Brianna shook her hand again and began blabbering on.

"Well, let's play, shouldn't we, Brianna?" Annie sighed, looking at Beryl with a slightly crooked smile. Monica went to prepare some treats along with Betty, who was arranging some fruits in a basket as a gift to perhaps Camilla and Rowan. Annie led Beryl into her and Brianna's room and played without energy, which escaped both Beryl and Brianna's eyes. Annie unpacked a travel bag laid on her bed, Annie hoisted herself up and unzipped it.

She scoured in until she found her book, opened it, and started reading, straight in the middle of a game of Watermelon Island Beryl, Brianna and Annie was playing. Brianna gasped when Annie started reading, she had expected for Annie to place something out to show Beryl, but no, she simply started scanning the pages.

"Annie! Don't be disrespectful! Let's play together!" Annie, who simply didn't bother much, folded her legs and merely continued her reading progress once again. Beryl sighed and told Brianna this, her tone was impatient, which Annie noted, "If Annie doesn't want me to be here, I'll leave."

Brianna shook her head wildly, Annie shook hers mildly, Beryl glared at them with interest at their response. Brianna refused her to leave, she said this, "Don't worry! Annie is very inclusive! Right?!" She turned to Annie, begging her to say 'yes', thankfully, Annie was polite at many times.

"Of course," Annie began, peering above her large book, "I'm simply tired of the math, you see, math is not particularly my favorite." Annie smiled reassuringly, Beryl sat down once again and Brianna resumed the game. Eventually, Annie joined in when she got tired of her reading, after an hour or so, Monica flung the door open. Camilla was behind her, her arms respectfully linked in front of her.

"Alright, I'm going, bye." Beryl grabbed a small bag she had brought with her during her arrival and left, before that she thanked Brianna and Annie heartily. Monica and Betty watched as Beryl helpfully closed the door behind her, Annie locked it and returned to unpack some other things instead.

The evening was refreshing, Annie and Brianna received some sunlight from outside and had a water balloon fight. Annie had brought some water balloons to entertain herself, she prepared for any possible possibility. She had brought everything she thought she would need for two months. So had Brianna.

Brianna wrapped herself in her black pattern towel while Annie wrapped herself in her plain purple one. Monica and Betty had allowed them to handle themselves by themselves, they are grown up enough. They chatted happily while enjoying the sunlight shining on them after a wet day.

"I do love water!" Said Brianna gleefully, she relaxed as the water soaked her clothing wet, meanwhile, Annie wrapped her towel tighter around herself.

Afterwards, they had dinner, bless the weather, it had only become dark when Annie and Brianna completed their fun. They ate a warm dinner, despite the hot weather, they enjoyed it nevertheless. They had a drowsy sleep, they slept easily, it was an easy feat.

Annie opened her eyes when she heard the door to another room creak open, she clicked her lamp light open. Yawning softly, she crept to the door and peeked from underneath the door. The gap was very small, so Annie could not make out who it was, but there was a dim figure in the nighttime. Annie felt very sleepy, and she wasn't eager to find out anyways, so she simply tucked back into bed.

Wondering, and leaving the questions in her mind unanswered, she blinked and eventually had the rest of her sleep. However, that night still lingered in her mind.
