IN WHICH aurora hudges is forced to work with a certain lightskin for a school project. they start being friends do they stay that way or become more?
OR
IN WHICH two teens work together for a school project. despite being polar opposites they get along pretty well. their bond forms faster than normal friendships will they ever become more then "just friends"
aurora was a normal girl who lives in pennsylvania. well from her point of view she was normal, but to other people she wasn't. other people perceived her as rude or scary. they were scared to approach her and didn't take the time to ever get to know her.
if anyone would try to get to know her they would know she's actually a very nice person. she was talkative and she loved being around people.
she didn't have any friends because because people were scared to approach her. people had framed her as a mean person when she wasn't. but people had spread it around so she went with it. she was always by herself with headphones in her ear.
aurora was the definition of an academic weapon. she was a junior in high school taking classes with all seniors. she had always aced her tests, passed her classes with all a's, took advanced classes. she made all subjects look easy. people would call her a 'try hard' but a lot of it came natural to her.
auroras parents had divorced when she was six years old because her mom cheated on her dad. her mom didn't try to involve herself in her kids lives. a couple years later she had married another guy and had two more kids. she didn't bother to mention the original two she had.
her dad had worked to support his two kids and give them all their needs and wants. he spent a lot of time at work but he still made sure he was apart of his kids lives. she was grateful for her dad and he was all she needed.
aurora didn't have any friends but she had her brother. they always hung out with each other and they were always around each other. if aurora was somewhere her brother was somewhere near her.
