aurora was in her her room waiting for harlyn to show up. but she had just heard knocking at the door so she got up to get it. she walked downstairs and opened the door revealing harlyn standing in front of her. "hey roryy" she greeted bringing her into a hug. aurora returned the hug clinging onto her as she really need one right now. "what's wrong rory who got you acting out of character like this" she asked while aurora led her to her room.

aurora sat on her bed harlyn sitting next to her. "what's up rora" harlyn commented making aurora pull out her phone. she showed the girl the picture making harlyn drop her jaw. "holy shit" she whispered in shock seeing the picture of jalil and sophie. "when did she send you this" she asked.

"today while i was in second period" she stated making harlyns eyes go wide. "damn she's a bitch. i mean i always knew that i just needed something to prove it." the girl commented still examining the picture. "you want me to beat to tear a hoe up? cause i will" harlyn offered making aurora laugh. "no harlyn be serious" she reminded her making harlyn throw her hands in the air. "i was being serious. but i guess i can think of something else"

"how about you invite them both over and talk about it with them both one on one" harlyn suggested but aurora declined it. "what am i supposed to say" she argued. "ask them about it and tell them how you feel duh" harlyn said to her making aurora let out a sigh. "it's not that easy though"

"i didn't say it was going to be easy. nothing about this is gonna be easy, you'll get used to it though" harlyn warned her making her feel a little bit nervous. if it was gonna be worse then this she didn't know if she wanted to do any of this. she didn't think it was going to be worth it.

"i can't like talk about things like that though. well not easily" she admitted feeling embarrassed about it. what kind of teenager didn't know how to express their emotions, she thought it was pathetic. "it's a learning process rory you'll get it. just trust me this'll all work out" she assured the girl making her feel slightly better knowing she had the support from her best friend.

aurora texted both jalil and sophie to come over so now she was just waiting in her living room with harlyn. if she was being honest she was scared, aurora wasn't the confrontational type. if you did her wrong she would just let it go and act like she didn't know. so if she ever confronted you before you reallyy messed up.

somebody had knocked on her door making aurora snap out of her thoughts. she went to go get the door and she opened it seeing jalil. she had stepped out the way letting him come in. she could feel her stomach doing flips after every second passed. "what's wrong?" he asked seeing the look on her face. aurora had tried to not roll her eyes or show any emotion at all. it made her mad how he could act so clueless knowing what he did.

"um i wanna talk to you about something" she stammered making jalil slowly nod his head. "yeah sure what's up" he started making aurora lead him into a empty hallway so nobody could hear them. as she walked past the living room harlyn gave her a reassuring look making some of her nerves go away"

"what's wrong rory" he asked again once they relocated somewhere else. "why'd you lie to me?" she blurted out making jalils face squint up in confusion. "what are you talking about?" he responded looking clueless. "stop acting stupid sophie already told me" she told him making him look at her with a blank look.

"aurora told you what? i need you to be more specific" he pointed out making aurora pull out her phone. "that yall are dating" she told him showing him the picture. "what the hell" he whispered surprised. "why didn't you tell me" she asked making jalil look at her sincerely.
