"This snow is UNBEARABLE!!" Jin-woo exaggerated.
"Relax, it's going away soon anyways." Dae patted him on the shoulder, keeping his positive attitude.
Jin-woo sighed, his shoulders slumping and his muscles feeling like it loosened. "So, have you picked a club yet? You DO know that you have to join one, and it's already the start of March." Jin-woo clarified.
"Oh, giving it a break. Fine, I'll join one, but, which one do you recommend?" Asked Dae.
"Art club! It's great, and I'm in it!" Jin-woo beamed. Dae nodded and continued walking through the snow's tough exterior.
As they enter their new class, the seats were visibly rearranged. "You're late." The teacher grumbled. Dae looked around the moved seats, all taken by students chatting. "Dae and Jin-woo, you'll sit seperately since there's only two spots left." The teacher explained.
Dae looked at the two spots, one with his friend and one with a gloomy expression he didn't recognize, he didn't really acknowledge that the guy would be in his class. "Dae, you can sit ne-" "SIT NEXT TO ME!" Dad's friend interrupted the teacher. "Oh, he can sit me, I'll give up the spot.." Another shouted. "Zip it. Dae, you can sit next to Nyx and Jin-woo goes to Jong-suk." Jin-woo groaned something about not being able to each other before moving to his assigned spot.
Dae sat next to the dim face. Dae got the idea to befriend him, besides, there wasn't anyone who didn't want to be friends with the extravagant Dae.
However, he never got the opportunity to talk to him, the teacher went on and on until clas was already over. "Hey, wait up." Dae snatched Nyx's hand before he could get out to lunch.
"You must be new, I haven't seen here before.." Dae mentioned.
"I've been here since year 7..." The boy mumbled, annoyed. Dae's face flushed red with embarrassment.
"O-oh, my mistake, what's your name?" Dae asked, in an attempt to redeem himself.
"None of your business.." Sighed Nyx. Dae flashed a confused look, barely no one had treated him like this. Dae quickly recovered again. "Nyx, isn't it?" Dae chuckled. Nyx threatened him with a scowl before walking off. Dae took a few moments to regain his composure before leaving to visit his friends.
"What's up? You look hurt." Min stared, noticing the defeated expression that laid on Dae's face. Dae took a seat next to his friend. "Nothing, just some guy.." Sighed Dae.
"Who? Last time I recalled, you were friends with everyone, even the juniors." Min said, before his eyes lit up with playful glint.
"Ooh, did you get rejected?" Min teased, a mischievous smirk crawling onto his face.
"A guy, I said a GUY." Dae defended.
"So? Can't boys love boys?" Min protested.
"I swear, I'm 100% straight, dude." explained Dae. Min flicked Dae on the forehead before resuming back to eating his lunch. Then, Eun smacked Min on the head. "Haha, don't hit the golden boy!" Eun laughed. As a result, the sandwich that Min was eating was splattered across the floor. Min pouted and looked up at Eun with an annoyed, but disheartened look. Eun instantly felt a wave of guilt. "I'm sorry!! I swear, I'll buy you another one, or maybe even 3 or 4!!" Eun panicked.
"Don't worry, I'll buy a new one, these aren't that expensive anyways, only just 1 or 2$ each." Min reassured Eun. Eun took a seat next to the two boys. "Thanks, you're the best, man. " Eun breathed in relief.
