"This is like, so not cool, Dae" Jin-woo frowned. "Look, it ain't my fault I'm in detention!" "Of course it is!"Min smiled. "Bahaha, the goody-two shoes getting in detention." Eun chuckled. Dae sighed, shaking his head. "I made the wrong pick of best friends."
"Ooh, best friends are we? I feel honored, hearing this from the guy everyone in school is friends with,"Eun joked. "Except Nyx." Min teased. "Seriously, what's the Nyx thing that you three keep talking about?" Hu-yin asked. "None of your bui-!" "A guy that's got beef with Dae!" Jinwoo interrupted Dae. "That's news, oh, isn't Nyx that quiet kid? Mysterious... he's kinda cute."Hu-yin giggled. "If cute is the new word for annoying then sure" Dae spat. "I believe you." Hu-yin whispered to Jin-woo.
Dae walked into detention, almost wanting to say 'I saved your ass' to Nyx, which he obviously didn't. He sat beside Nyx. "Hey, why do you keep sitting next to me?" Nyx glared. "'Cause I can!"Dae snickered. Nyx huffed and crossed his arms stubbornly. "Angry, are we?" Dae teased. "More than ever." Nyx said. "I wouldn't say that's true,"Dae replied.
By now, at least 5 minutes had passed, and Dae had noticed the teacher getting frustrated. Until the detention room door opened. For the past 4 days, Nyx and Eun had been the only ones in detention. Until today.
"Sorry Ms.Kowa, im late" the person voiced, sitting down next to Dae.
"EUN!" Dae screeched. The absolute goody two shoes getting in detention? "Why are you here?" Dae asked. "Punched a kid." Eun replied as if nothing was wrong with that. "Why?!" Dae gawked. "Well, they were insulting Min and I didn't stand by and let that slide.." Eun shrugged. Right. Dae thought. He would go to absolutely any lengths for Min.
"Right, well atleast im not lonely anymore,"Dae said. Nyx glared at him as if expecting acknowledgement.
Eun looked past Dae to Nyx. "Oh hi, you're Nyx right?"Eun asked nicely. "Look like anyone else?"Nyx replied severely. "Hey, this is why you have no frie-!"Before Dae could finish, Nyx put his hand up to cover his mouth. Before Eun knew it, the two were fighting. Eun chuckled silently, he thought they were fighting like an old couple.
"You don't really seem like enemies to me" Eun said, stopping the two from arguing and staring at Eun. "Then what?" Dae asked slowly. "Hmm, lovers quarrel,"Eun said. Dae stared at Eun blankly. While Nyx flushed red, then white, and started taking out a sketchbook and drawing what seemed to be out of embarrassment and frustration.
Dae started. "Anyways...."
"Heh, made things pretty awkward, didn't I?" Eun chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. Nyx nodded affirmatively. "Are you guys... friends..or not?"Eun asked. "Nop-" "Um, yeah we are" Dae cut Nyx off. Nyx narrowed his eyes, but he didn't say anything yet.
"Oh you are? But Jin-woo told me that Dae really hated Nyx's guts?"Eun tilted his head. "OH? Tell me more." Nyx said, curiously, glancing deviously at Dae who was dripped in sweat. "He said Dae thought you were annoying and mean and a pain in the ass."Eun admitted, smirking mischievously at Dae. "I-is that so..?! Well... the feelings are mutual!" Nyx pouted. "Th-that's not true!" Dae tried to come back. "Oh I doubt that..."Nyx retorted. Dae glowered at Eun, who was smirking. Nyx moved away from them to sit on a desk far back.
