AS you watched MEGURU, your older brother, you couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and adoration. Others may have thought he was an odd child, but to you, he was everything.

The rhythmic melody of the football against the ground filled the air as he dribbled, lost in his own world where he was a star on the field. Meanwhile, you stood by, holding your bags, admiring his passion and skill.

Meguru called out to you. "[Name], let's race!" With a sense of contentment, you gently hummed while carefully setting down your school bags.

"Here to there." You grinned mischievously as you glanced in his direction. Bachira nodded eagerly, brimming with excitement.

"One, two, th-" As you started to run, you could feel the steady rhythm of your heart beating in your chest. Your feet pounded against the ground, propelling you forward, and you could feel the cool rush of air brushing against your face and through your hair, as you gained speed. The sounds of your surroundings started to blur as you picked up the pace, and your breathing became deeper and more intense with each stride.

"Ha! I won." You were sitting between the pants, clutching your knees with your hand. Bachira just smiled at you softly.

YOUR fist connected with the flesh of the boy's nose. A satisfying crack resounded throughout the classroom as red spilt down his nose.

Taunts and uproar filled the classroom as you slapped him across the face, an angry red mark on his face glaring back at you. "Don't ever fucking talk on Meguru, again!" You punctuate your every word with a strike to the face.

"Fucking motherfucker, suck my dic-!" You shouted as the teacher hauled you away, sending you to the office. Huffing as you sat down, arms crossed. "Bachira, this is your third offence. Suspended!"

You grabbed your bag in frustration, and with a heavy sigh, you stormed towards the door, slamming it behind you. As you stalked through the echoing hallways, lost in your thoughts, you unexpectedly collided with Meguru.

"Thanks, [Name]. Did you win?" he asked with a cheeky smile, and in response, you couldn't help but smirk.

"Ha!" you chuckled. "Of course, I won."

MEGURU wasn't one to be overly sad

MEGURU wasn't one to be overly sad. But today, he was. He knew that the two of you would split up soon but he had always thought it would be you leaving and not the other way around.

"Are you sure you're gonna be fine?" He looks at you, his eyes brimming with tears. A weak, wet laugh escapes his lips as he sniffs, and then he reaches forward and pulls you into a tight hug, his arms wrapping around you.

"I'm going to be okay, you know that," you reassure him, your voice choked with emotion. You feel immensely proud of him for getting into Bluelock, a prestigious soccer school. You know he truly deserves it, and you couldn't bring yourself to hold him back.

"Go win for me, okay?"
