"A hot piece of ass babe" I commended her with a smirk making her blush. She was getting ready for her date.

"Oh c'mon girl, I asked for a compliment not for a flirty..." She was about to complete her words unless...

*beep*
The phone rang shrilly, cutting through the talks.

It was none other than Vansh, Mihira's boyfriend who was waiting for her since the last 25 minutes. He was at the parking lot right infront of Mihira's house. They were going to have their first date since they knew each other.

They both used to like each other since the last few years but either of them didn't had the courage to do confess their love. However Vansh was a red flag since school but how did he fell for Mihira, God knows.

Yuvika, My best friend had arranged a prom tonight but Mihira being madly in love with Vansh chooses to skip the prom invitation and be Vansh's date. I although didn't force her and let her visit wherever she wants to be.

I too had to attend the prom tonight so I just stood up and went out of Mihira's room.

"You guys still here??" Mihira's mother asked me watching coming out of Mihira's room.

"Umm, nothing just getting Mihira ready for the prom." I told her cause none of us can tell the truth to her mother as she didn't liked Vansh and would never be happy to know Mihira dating Vansh.

"Here she is" I notified her. Mihira was wearing a beautiful white bodycon dress with a pair of sandals and a white wrath.

"Ah, my daughter...Sweetheart, you look absolutely radiant today. Seeing you grow into such a beautiful and confident young woman fills my heart with so much joy and pride. I love you more than words can express." She admires her beauty wiping her happy tears making her giggle.

"You look absolutely fine now let's just leave" I asserted as it was already 9:00.

We left the house and got into Vansh's car. He dropped me at Yuvika's place and they both left for their dinner date.

I found Yuvika and as usual we grabbed a glass of wine and started goofing around and enjoying with our whole hearts. We met our friends, Yuvika's parents and now we were with our group.

I don't know why but I was feeling really merry since evening. I was wearing a red prom gown with a pair of heels and a set of earrings that looked stunning.

I often used to visit bars, parties and proms but today it was really something different thing, I could feel something that I knew but I couldn't understand what it actually was

I often used to visit bars, parties and proms but today it was really something different thing, I could feel something that I knew but I couldn't understand what it actually was. I could feel a presence but of whom didn't knew. Many of the men were glaring at me and a few them too asked to have a dance with them but I being a introvert don't like people touching or staring at me as physical touch isn't my thing.

It had been 12:00 not too late if we say as my friends being corporate doesn't mind 12:00 to be late for parties. I usually don't party late but today my heart was not letting me leave the prom area. I wanted to be in the prom for a reason which I was unaware of.

It had been a long time since I entered and in the influence of melodious music and the chaos I thought of dancing. Yuvika being the bestest friend of mine joined me and soon I collided with a man I was about to fall but he held me in his arms his hands holding my waist his neck touching mine and our nose in contact with each others.

"I mean I'm sorry, I didn't...." I was about to say the last words until our eyes met and unknowingly "A.. Ab..Abhi!" these words slipped out my tongue.

It was Abhimanyu.

A flashback ran through my mind of us meeting for the first time, the time spent with each other, the times when we laughed together, the time when we had our first kiss, the beautiful moments and at last the heartbreaking marriage of Abhimanyu.

I was looking in his eyes for the last few minutes thinking that why his eyes are the only I want to look at myself. It had been 3 years since I saw him last thinking all this I remembered about the last meet and left him with a jerk. My heartbeat ran faster than ever, my chest was puffing up and down, my legs and hands ran in shiver and a lone tear escaped my eyes.

I was loosing my balance and I ran out of the hall leaving everyone and everything there. Yuvika held me not letting me go but I didn't even hesitate and threw her hand from mine and went to the road. I was crying and running and as I was wearing a long dress I fell down.

It didn't hurt me but Yuvika came behind me and took me to her house where the prom party was still going on.
I didn't went inside the hall and directly went to Yuvika's room.

I locked myself and started snatching everything from my body my dress which I purchased just a few days ago and it was really beautiful but I didn't care at the moment and rip it off and went to the shower to calm myself.

Abhimanyu was everything Nalini ever wanted. It was 3 years back when Abhimanyu married Stuti infront of Nalini's eyes. Nalini was broken after looking at everything. Abhimanyu did love Nalini not Stuti but due to the circumstances and fate he married Stuti.

"Why the hell are you here? Who asked you to come here? Why are you here again, don't you know that whose house is this? Was it all a plan to hurt Nalini more?" Yuvika shouted at Abhimanyu.

"What rubbish are you shouting?!" Harsh, Yuvika's father scolded her.

"Do you even know who he is? Is that how you talk to a guest?" Her father exclaimed.

"Who's he? And why is he here? I think I can ask you a question. Can't I?" Yuvika speaks out.

"He is the king of the Rajput clan of Rajasthan and most importantly we are business partners now" Harsh discerned.

"Business partner? Haha, what a joke! How could a cheater be somebody's business partner? How could you even trust him papa? He is just a piece of.."

"SHUT UP. Don't speak shit if you don't know about the things" Atharva, Abhimanyu's younger brother spoke.

"Oh really? Then you guys will tell me what actually the thing is? You think that we know nothing about what actually happened. " Yuvika asserts sarcastically.

"YES, you girls actually don't know the thing. So better you keep your mouth shut" Abhimanyu speaks and the rest of the people have slammed their mouth shut as it was the first time Abhimanyu spoke.
