"Body, heart, and soul," Ken said earnestly.

Amari raised an eyebrow. "You mean, mind, body, and soul?"

Ken shook his head. "No, I want to be the center of your heart, not just an idea in your mind. I'm much more than an idea."

Amari nodded silently, impressed by his words.

"Well?" Ken asked, nervousness creeping into his voice as he got lost in her gaze.

"My body is already yours," Amari smiled, pulling him closer with a gentle tug of his shirt. "My soul has been since day one," she chuckled, her eyes lowering to his lips, prompting Ken to lean in.

"But my heart... hmm," her words brushed across his lips in a ghostly, ticklish touch. "You'll need more than just words to win it over," she said before closing the gap and kissing him softly.

Ken deepened the kiss, pouring all his love and longing into it. When they finally broke apart, both were breathless, their foreheads resting against each other.

His heart pounded in his chest as he absorbed Amari's words. Her playful challenge sparked a fire within him, and he was determined to prove his love.

"How?" Ken whispered against her lips.

This was the woman Ken wished to marry. The woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, raising Emi and any other children they might have. He wanted to be there for her, to support her, to love her through everything.

With a sly smile, Amari lightly shrugged as she leaned back. "I can't tell you everything, now can I?"

Ken knew she was playing hard to get, but it only fueled his desire for her. He grinned, his determination unwavering. "I'll spend every day showing you," he whispered, his breath mingling with hers.

Amari's eyes sparkled with a mix of amusement and affection. "I look forward to seeing what you come up with," she replied softly.

He closed the remaining distance, capturing her lips in a tender kiss. It was a promise, a vow of his unwavering devotion. The world outside their living room faded away, leaving just the two of them in their own little universe.

As they parted, Ken rested his forehead against hers. "You're my everything, Amari. And I'll make sure you know it every single day."

Amari's smile was radiant, her eyes filled with love and trust. "I already know, Ken. But I won't mind being reminded."

They stayed like that for a moment, savoring the intimacy and connection they shared. Then, with a contented sigh, Ken pulled Amari into a tight embrace.

"How about we start by making dinner together?" he suggested, his voice warm and inviting.

Amari nodded, her arms wrapping around him. "I'd like that."

Hand in hand, they moved to the kitchen, ready to share another moment together. The future was uncertain, but with each other, they felt unstoppable.

Ken knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, as long as he had Amari by his side, he could face anything.

Side note: Please remember that love is not "proven" by sleeping with someone, nor does the act determine your self-worth. Be cautious of people, particularly men, who seek to bed you before showing any commitment. Often, they may use you for your body and eventually leave. No matter how many times you sleep with him or allow him to be unfaithful, sex, no matter how good or bad, will not deepen his romantic feelings if the relationship started purely based on sexual pleasure.

He has to love you first to truly appreciate you as a whole person.

Remember: if you can imagine someone better, then someone(s) better is out there for you. Don't let low self-esteem stop you from seeking the love and respect you deserve.
