After a good day night of rest, I feel much better now the viewers seem to be entertained with their video for now, but I have to make sure I keep up with that. I get up writing early to start my shift again. I looked to see if any paperwork has been filed for me not yet I silently cheer to myself.
I float out getting ready for a bright new day full of whatever happens honestly at this point, I'm not sure what will I mean talking planets watching people who knows at this point but I go
I was analyzing rock samples close to me studying for minerals. That could be important. I hear a voice and feel the slight shaking of the area around me
Luna came from behind quickly saying with positive energy almost
"Hey there little guy! Kinda sad things are getting back to normal we really showed earth when I went away huh~!"
Being that my brain has not fully grasped the topic of the talking planet. It's still a lot I quietly repeat myself.
" don't talk to the moon don't talk to the moon Do not talk to the moon."
Luna must've heard my rambling as he quickly says
"Hey I can hear you.! do you have a problem with me?"
Feeling a small sense of anger buildup in my system I quickly respond back
" Well last time we talked you almost ended the world! so excuse me if I do-"
My words were cut off by Luna once more he quickly says, seeming to yell back
" You know what fine if you don't wanna talk then whatever I thought you earthlings wanted to hang out sending people to my surface and all!"
I took my head looking slightly confused
" wait you know about the moon landing?"
Luna responds back as if it was common knowledge
" Yeah if you guys don't like it out here why don't you stay on earth?"
Astrodude stopped for a second thinking in silence before explaining
" Well I can't speak for everyone but the reason I'm in space is because of you."
Luna waves his hand, dismissively, mumbling
" oh come on now you're just saying that to make me feel better."
Astrodude quickly continued his speech
" no I'm serious when I was a kid I always gazed up at the night sky dreaming of going to the moon one day I asked my dad "hey Sir? have we ever visited the moon?" Yknow what he said? Heck no it's all conspiracy theory t made up by the government directed by Kubrick"
Luna almost looks a little bit confused before saying in a lighthearted tone
"Huh well I wasn't expecting that."
Astrodude sighed before continuing his story
"Yeah.. but! Then I decided to read up more on it and I discovered that we actually did land on the moon maybe it was for science or who knows to maybe beat the Soviets. But it may be impossible feel possible. It made me want to do something like that too. Go to the moon and beyond. and yeah, my dream grew bigger. but in reality, it all started with you." I flashed a soft smile
Luna said with tears in his eyes
" can I hug you?"
I say sleep hesitant, but not trying to hurt his feelings
"Uhhh. I don't know how that would work. Without me dying so..."
Luna said dismissively though
"Cmon give me a hug astrodude."
Luna slowly approached as I slowly begin to grow more panicked
"Hey..! Hey wait a minute get away get away!"
I tried to get away with my rocket boosters, but something as small as me could not nearly escape as quickly as Lunas arms scoop void around me with both large hands now around me. I am quickly pulled back towards the mass of the moon. Luna's hands closed and everything went black.
Something warm and fleshy on the inside of his palms "astrodude..?" he asked quietly hearing no response back in a slight panic he unclasp his own hands what used to be an astronaut is now a cracked bursted suit spilled with crimson.
Luna's eyes widened. He doesn't know how humans work, but he knows this isn't good. He quickly floats back to in a panic.
"Earth!" Who is playing space poker with the other Rocky planets said
" what now moon can't you see I'm busy playing a game."
Luna quickly said back
" it involves the earthling."
That caught earths attention quickly he turns to Luna before looking down at the blood palms and what used to be an earthling
" my God, what the what happened? Why is he like this? Did you do this?!"
Luna says somberly
" I was just trying to give him a hug. I didn't mean to do this."
The muffled voices of the planet and the moon rings in my ear as goes blink once more are awaken in front of the screen A voice unfamiliar to him says
" you should really be more careful. We need you for the script. You are important.."
I tried to say a few words
" who are you? You're not the viewer!"
Whatever it is laughs
" That is not important for you to know."
A Million questions swirl through my head who is this person? How am I back alive? Did he bring me back to life isn't even a he?
I hear the sound of paper shuffling as he says
" this is the end of the video. I'll see you soon.."
