The clethes of thunder struck as she was still in there this gave her a tremendous fright which sent her shivering, this was not an ordinary thunder but it was one that warned that the time is coming near.
Lucy was a hard nut to crack so she was not ready to give up on his mission just like that she was dedicated to solving this case
Back at the palace the king felt bad on overworking his daughter so he went to Lucy's bedroom.He was hoping to apologise to her but he was too proud to do that.He felt that this would make him seen as weak by his daughter.

maybe she is upset with me

The king spoke to himself with many thoughts swindling through his mind and this distracted him a little bit.
He hesitantly walked in showing a little frown as he thought that Lucy ignored him on purpose to his suprise he found her asleep.
Lucy's plan had worked and the king didn't notice that it was just a bunch of pillows shoved in the bed
"Lucy i hope you are not too drained by the work i gave you ,i'll give you lighter work tomorrow i promise,"the king said hoping that Lucy could hear him
He waited for a response but to his disappointment Lucy did not respond to her so the king made his way to the door and got out
He didn't want his daughter to be mad at her but he also didn't want her to continue on her investigation about Eldermor and his connection on hell house.
If she were to find out the truth then it could lead to his secret being blown or worse Lucy telling everyone about his biggest secret.
i should perhaps tell her the truth before she finds out

The king made his way to his room only to find his drinking the finest whine in the world.She poured some for him because she could tell that her husband was under a lot of stress.
"so what did you say to her,"The queen refilled her whine waiting for a response there was absolute silence right at that moment.
Ofcourse the king wasn't going to tell her that he almost apologised to Lucy because he didn't want people to see this side of him that reveals how vulnerable he is.
The queen took a sip of his whine then akwardly kept quiet ,the king was not going to tell her nothing anyways so they both drank in silence.The only thing they had in common was that they were both drunkards.
"we have to make sure that our secret doesn't come out,"the king ignored his wife's statement and changed it to another subject.
"I told you to kill that child but you denied now we are going to experience problems due to that child of yours,"now the alchol was the one making her talk like this she wasn't even thinking straight
The king kept quiet and looked at her shocked at her statement this was getting very heavy for the both of them.
The king went to the balcony to get some fresh air.It was 30 minutes before the moon could rise he very much knew this but he didn't want to reveal this to the prophet earlier that day.
"maybe things could've not been like this if it wasn't for the incident that day i cannot forgive myself for what i did back then,"he was shaking in fear.Tears started falling down his cheeks showing no sign of stopping.
He paused for a little bit he took the silver platter in front of him then looked at himself.The silver platter was shiny so it reflected him.
"what!am i crying my father taught me better than this a man who cries is said to be weak i cannot be weak i'm the king,"he wiped of the tears quickly and looked around a little bit making sure that no one noticed him.
His heart was battling even further with his mind about the issue if things were to go wrong then he'll have to pay the price and sacrifice his daughter.
This was a very tricky situation why was Lucy going to pay the price for something she does not even know about.
I will hide my daughter far away from this land or she'll face the same fate my brother did but then even if i did Eldermor will find her quickly
He had to do something now or unfortunately hell will break loose and he would lose a loved one right on this night.He went to the prayer room and took holy water and paraffin and took a box of matches
"if i were to die tonight i would know i have protected my family as a man,"he continued.He went to the dorm were homeless guards were sleeping he took along with him 10 guards to accompany him to hell house.
The guards were suprised when his sumpremacy summoned them to go on duty at night some of them knew of Eldermor and they were trembling to bits when on they were on their to hell house.
Solomon the head of knights in the kindom who has been working for the royal family for 10 years now knew of this but when the king summoned him he chose to remain loyal even if it meant losing his life in the process
One thing about working in the royal palace was that you had to remain loyal to the throne against all odds even if it meant losing an arm or a leg.
There were many rumours among the servants that the king has met Eldermor and they share some kind of connection that no one knew about except for her highness.
