"We've arrived make I'm going to untie I don't want the animals get scared upon seeing you tied up,"he looked at her. "make sure you don't anything stupid or you'll regret it"
She kept quiet and looked up to him and swallowed nothingness.This demon meant business.
He walked in to be met by the guards which was 2 lions.She followed right behind him.By now the animals knew that it was not appropriate to not let a demon in.
They believed that the demon took animal spirits and gave them new life back on Earth.They all wished to be part of the 3 chosen animal souls.They thought that the demons did great things for the animals chosen not knowing that the lucky ones are those who are not chosen.
"Welcome demon,"the 2 lion souls bowed their heads in respect.It was really important for them to show respect to the so called 'caretakers of their brothers and sisters'
"What the furge!"Lucy startled making her hold the demon's hand."is it me...or did...the animals just talk."
She held the demon's hand even tighter and looked up at him waiting for a response
"This is the underworld what were you expecting,"he stood in the middle of the gate waiting for it to open up.
The gate opened and the demon walked in with Lucy.
The animal realm was nothing like hell it was really peaceful and the whole place was white even the animals themselves were white but you could recognize which animal it was.
Lucy looked around with suprise if she could get a chance to go back to earth she would make her discovery be known to man.
She stumbled on something and the demon instantly caught her in his hands making them share a bit eye contact.
The monkey spotted them and headed to the king to tell him upon the demon's arrival.
"King the demon has arrived but he has company today,"the monkey bowed down to king David the lion
"Let them in,"he replied with a smile
"Uhhm...uhhh...sorry to interupt but the king says you may come in,"he coughed in order to bring them back to reality
They both got up and went in
"Greetings demon,"king David bowed down along with the demon
It was a sign of respect and it was tradition for them to greet each other this way.King David has always thought the demons were very harmless he would tell the other realms how good hell treats his entire realm.
"Now who's this demon?"he took a closer look at Lucy
He had to think of something quickly he didn't want the animals finding out that she was a soul that escaped from being judged.
"This is my wife,we got separated by death but now we recently united,"he took her hand and kissed it.
Honestly that kiss made her soften and hit a gentle spot in her heart,her mind racing all over the place and a dozen butterflies let out in her time.
"Mmh I guess fate has brought you two lovers together once again,"he smiled and went back to his sit.
Lucy was still stunned at the demon's words.
I have to get myself away from him before he takes me back to hell
Maybe I must just tell the animals the truth but if I do that he'll finish me
She was deep in her thoughts she couldn't help but notice how gentle the demon was being towards the animals. She almost thought maybe he wasn't bad after all.
"Lucy snap out of it he's just pretending a demon can never change they all are vile and don't have a heart but only blackness filled in their heads,"she said to herself as she looked around the place hoping to find a way to run from the demon.
Her eyes laid upon a big white tree which had animals on it and blue sand around it.This was her only chance to run away from him.
"So which animals are willing to go with me today?"he turned to face king David
"Uhh...my friend all the animals here always dreams of leaving to go back to earth it is pretty hard for me to choose,"the lion walked around him in a circle."but I have selected them here they are giraffe,monkey and leorpad.
He pointed at them.They all walked up to him then bowed down.He was so entire focus shifted to the animals totally forgetting about Lucy there.
"This is my chance I have to hide behind that tree or else I might end up in fire for the rest of eternity,"she thought as she made her way to the tree.
All of the animals were focused on the demon and didn't notice as Lucy climbed up on the tree and went to the highest branch where no one could spot her even if they were on the tree.
"So what do you think about them?"the king scanned the animals who were selected then turned to the demon waiting for his answer.
"They are fine I'll take them,they are going to go safely back to earth,"he put on a fake smile
The king smiled upon hearing his words and the 3 animals became really excited too awaiting eagerly to leave.
"I'll have to go now I don't want to waste time so I think we'll get going I'll see you when I come back again King David,"he bowed down
King David roared this was rather a sign of saying goodbye.The demon noticed that Lucy had disappeared.
"Where is..where is the person who was standing with me just now,"he panicked
"I'm sure she just went to greet some of the animals,surely your lover will come back,"he looked at the panicking demon."You must love her very much that you worry if she gets out of your sight hey."
Just then a leaf from the branch Lucy was on fell down on the blue sand and it turned black
