I was with Ash just enjoying each other's company, we pretty much just hung out with Kay and his friends the entire morning

We got hungry and decided to go to the deli to get some chopped cheese

"I couldn't help but notice you and Kay seem pretty tight lately. What's the deal? Are you guys official or sum ?" Ash asked poking me with her elbow since her hands were in he hoodie pockets

"Nah, Ash, it's not even like that. Me and Kay, we got a complicated thing goin' on, you know? I don't even know what it is " I shrugged

"Complicated? Whatchu mean? You two seem pretty cozy whenever I see you together , like today he prolly asked if you were okay like 20 times"

"Yeah, we vibe and all, but it ain't like we're lockin' it down or anything. We just got this connection, and he only asked because he doesn't think I've really stopped cutting"

I don't know what is really going on but , Ash was right Kay and I have been getting a lil closer than we ever where and lately he checks up on me all the time , last night he randomly called and was outside with some food for me

"I guess, but it seems like there's more to it than just a casual thing , I feel like it's just more than a fuck ship or whatever you wanna call it , it's really simple but yall just complicate it "

"Trust me, girl, it ain't that simple. Kay's got his own thing goin' on, and I got mine even tho I do like him. We just ride the wave when it feels right "

"Fair enough, As long as you're both on the same page and nobody's gettin' hurt, right?"

Right ! except I be feeling super jealous when I see him interact with other girls , or when he's on his phone texting his other bitches

"Exactly. We keep it real with each other and respect each other's space well mostly. Ain't no need for labels I mean there is enough drama going on so..."

"Gotcha. Bitch as long as you're happy with how things are, that's all that matters." Ash chuckled clearly not believing me

"Yeah" I smiled walking into the deli

"Xiamena!" I greeted her when I saw here packing some cigarette packs behind the counter

"Hey trouble". She smiled looking my way

"This is Ashlee, Ash Ximena". I introduced the two
Making my way towards the fridges to find something to drink

"Your lil yea yea was just here a  minute ago"  Ximena spoke still doing whatever else she does

"Kay ?"I asked

"Yeah , he was with a lil light skin" she confirmed
