Natasha got Bruce out of the way as Widows started coming in from the destroyed ceiling and she told him, "Don't turn green."

"I won't," he reassured her the same way as he did when Ultron first attacked.

"Get out of the building. We'll cover you." He nodded and started running while Natasha yelled out, "Yelena, cover him!"

Unlike last time, this was a shootout to end all shootouts because she and her sister were trying to get Bruce out safely without actually hurting the other girls. They were able to get the other Widows off of Bruce's tail and onto theirs, which was the only thing that mattered to Natasha.

"My motorbike is on the east side of the building," Yelena yelled at Bruce as they all ducked into the hallway as she and Yelena stayed behind him with their guns drawn.

Bruce and Natasha made eye contact and she nodded, telling him to get to the bikes before them. He went one direction while Natasha and Yelena went the other way. The Widows were after them and not Bruce.

When Natasha and Yelena got onto a giant metal pipe and moved it, another Widow caught up to them and fell by making Natasha let go of her. As Natasha watched her fall, she felt a sense of dread wash over her, knowing this is what she put Clint through. She had to fight back her own memories of Vormir and brought herself back to the present.

The pipe hit a building and Natasha was thrown off and onto other pipes before landing on her feet when she hit the ground. Natasha clenched her waist, making sure she wasn't injured, and walked toward the Black Widow, holding her hand out, showing she wouldn't hurt her.

"Hey," Natasha said as she approached the girl. "Don't move. You're hurt. Let me help you."

The girl raised her Widow Bite and Natasha tried to keep her composure.

"I don't wanna do this," the girl sobbed as she began to aim her weapon towards herself. "He's making me."

Before Natasha could move, the Widow blasted her weapon at her head and died on the spot. Natasha knelt in the water where the girl was lying and looked at her in grief.

Natasha saw Yelena walk towards her in sadness and put an antidote that she was going to use back in the band.

"Do you believe me now," the blonde asked.

Natasha nodded and saw Bruce run in their direction from the alley and toward where she was kneeling. He checked the girl's pulse and shook his head sadly as he looked at Natasha.

Bruce held out a hand for Natasha and helped her up. They walked away from the body and to the motorbikes.

As soon as the objects were in sight and they began to run, Natasha asked "Which one's yours?"

"Black," Yelena replied. "Brown seat."

Bruce went to the one next to Yelena's and finished a hotwiring job that he was probably in the middle of before looking for them.

"Where are my keys," Yelena asked in frustration as Natasha took the keys from her pocket and threw them in the air and caught them. Yelena cursed at her in Russian while Bruce got on the bike he was using, waiting for them.

As soon as Natasha got on to take the driver's position, there was a crash nearby, revealing a giant tank.

"Any day now," Natasha told Yelena, who immediately got on.

Bruce and Natasha took off, but at some point during the chase they had to spilt up. After a chase gone bad, the sisters had to take a car that Yelena stole. Natasha knew she was driving recklessly and that Bruce would scold her if he was the one in the car with her, but she was trying to protect Antonia and the other Widows.

Eventually, the car ended up in a subway and the sisters hid in a vent, losing Antonia in the process by using the blood from Yelena's wound as a trail to make her go another direction.

"You okay," Natasha asked her sister, who was tightening her makeshift bandage.

"Yeah. Great plan," Yelena said with sarcasm in her voice. "I love the part where I almost bled to death. This is cozy."

"Barton and I spent two days hiding out up here," Natasha said while looking at the spot where they played tic-tac-toe and hangman.

"That must have been fun," Yelena said then changed the subject. "That was Dreykov's special project. He can mimic anyone he's ever seen. It's like fighting a mirror. Dreykov only deploys him for top-priority missions."

Natasha stayed silent until Yelena continued, "You didn't say one word about Dreykov's daughter. You killed her."

Natasha may not have killed Antonia, but she destroyed her childhood. The guilt of almost killing her never went away.

"I had to," Natasha fibbed. "I needed her to lead me to Dreykov."

Natasha remembered what happened like it was yesterday. She and Clint were waiting for the girl to enter the building. Clint was waiting to take the shot and Natasha was in a car to give him the all clear. Once Natasha knew both were in there, she told Barton to shoot.

"I needed out," Natasha told her sister, barely keeping herself together.

After a few minutes passed Yelena broke the silence, "Is that Big Brother?"

Natasha looked in Yelena's direction to see underneath. Bruce had put on a black jacket with the hood up, looking around and walking fast, normal for a man in a rush on a subway. She had almost forgotten how good he was at being on the run.

Natasha got out first, caught up with Bruce and gently tugged on the back of his jacket, halting him in his tracks. When he turned his head, his eyes were green, as if he was trying to scare her.

"That doesn't work on me," Natasha said with a small smirk.

"Didn't know it was you," he said. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

Yelena walked up to the couple and said, "Hey, Big Brother. Woah, cool eyes!"

Yelena watched in fascination as Bruce's eyes went from green to his normal brown. At heart, Yelena was still that six-year-old girl that Natasha was pulled away from.

"Yelena, what," Bruce asked pointing to her arm with a nod.

"Car crash," Yelena replied with a shrug.

"Okay, as a medical professional I am going to need to check that and clean it. It'll need to be rewrapped too."

"He's bossy," Yelena told Natasha.

"He just cares. Let him look at it and he won't bug you about it anymore."

"Unfortunately, I don't have anything to clean and wrap that with," Bruce said while they began walking. "Someone named Natasha gets hurt a lot and cleans me out of medical supplies."

Yelena started laughing while Bruce smirked. Natasha rolled her eyes at both of them, then changed the subject. "Where'd you get the jacket," Natasha asked Bruce.

"Flea market a couple of blocks from here," he answered. "Had to go to a lot of them when I was on the run and needed new clothes after a hulk-out. Cheap and no one asks questions."

She nodded and Bruce took her hand in his, partly in comfort based on the way he was rubbing his thumb against hers and to make it appear as if they were a normal family to outsiders.
