While on their way to school as usual, (Y/N) caught sight of a girl walking the exact same direction and route as them.

They have never seen this girl before, was she a new student? If so, it was probably a good time to introduce themselves to the girl.

Walking up to her, they tapped her on the shoulder which slightly startled her.

They took note of her appearance. She had short brown hair; most probably a bob cut, along with a small green bow on top of her head.

Her clothing consists of a white long-sleeved blouse with a blue sleeveless button-up vest, completed with brown shorts, white socks and black shoes.

The girl turned her head towards (Y/N), relaxing when she saw that it was just another teenager just like her.

"Are you going to Paper School?"

(Y/N) asked the girl, showing her a picture of their school that they took a long time ago on their phone.

"Yes! Are you... Perhaps attending that school as well? What's your name?"

The girl replied, along with a question of her own. (Y/N) was more than happy to answer, delighted that their first impressions were not too bad.

"Yes, I am! My name is (Y/N), how about you?"

Smiling, they extended their hand towards the girl for a handshake, to which the girl happily accepted.

"You can call me Claire!"

"Hey Claire, do you know that there's a rumor about this school going around?"

Now standing in front of Paper School's enormous doorway, the both of them looked at each other, then back at the school.

Claire was pretty nervous since it's her first day. Thankfully, she had (Y/N) around with her. But to tell her about the school's dark secrets this early was probably not the best idea.

So instead, they settled on the right time to tell her about what the school does to failing students... Or maybe not...?

"Come on, let's go in! Don't worry, I'll help you around in there."

(Y/N) said, already walking up the stairs to the school's entrance.

"Wait! But- What was the rumor about!?"

Claire exclaimed as she hurriedly ran to where (Y/N) was, only to unintentionally trip on a small rock due to her carelessness.

Luckily, she was caught by them just in the nick of time, preventing her from hitting the ground and gaining any minor injuries.
