Chapter Three

I am so angry with ms.Kagal right now! She moved Tyler to sit in my table group and even worse right beside me!!! Now whenever we talk to each other my friends will start doubting me again.

It art class and I was still angry with ms.Kagal. "Ummm... Delilah?" Tyler asked. "Uh y-yea?" I replied. "Can I borrow a black sharpie if you have one please?" he asked. "Yea s-sure" I told him as I handed him the sharpie. I looked at my friends who were obviously giggling. OH MY GOD!!! I screamed on the inside of me. Why? Because when I gave him the sharpie our fingers touched!!!!😃
I love sharpies I thought to myself dreamily. Again what's happening to me?! Do I like him???
"Hello? Delilah, hellooooo". I hear someone say to me. I get back to reality. It was Tyler!
"Y-y-yea", I stammer. "Can I ask you a question?" He asked. "Yea for s-sure".
"Why do you stammer so much?" he asked. "Me and stammering?! No pffft what are you talking about?" I say panicking. "Delilah you don't have to be nervous around me, its ok I won't bite". He says as he puts his hand on my hand. We laugh until he realizes his hand is on mine and he quickly moves it away. Yep I do like him, that smile, that face, that hair, that... twinkle in his eyes! And it's not just a petty crush like how Hannah has on him, it was a major crush. Or should I say true love???

At recess...
"Guys I have to tell you something important and extremely secret!!" I say as we walk to our usual recess spot. "Even I have to" Polly says. "Can I pleaseeeee go first, pleaseeee??!!" I ask Polly. "Yea yea sure tell us" she said agreeing with me. "It's something to clear your doubts and to see if you guys were right or wrong..." I said creating suspense. "OH MY GOD TELL US I JUST CANT WAIT, IF I PEE MY PANTS OUT OF SUSPENSIONESS YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE BLAME!!" Diana said, which made us laugh again. "Suspensioness? Is that even a word???" Polly asked. "Yup in my dictionary" Diana said laughing. "Ummm guys will you listen to me now??" I asked getting impatient. "Oh yea sorry go on" all three of them said. "I do... l-like.. T-T-Tyler" I said biting my bottom right lip, twirling a piece of hair around my finger & looking at my shoes (turquoise converse). "NO WAY!!!!", Hannah and Diana screamed, "This is great news!" Hannah said getting super happy. "It looks like you two will get married and have a gazillion kids!!!" Diana said. Then I noticed something, Polly didn't look happy at all. She looked like she saw a ghost or something. "Ummm... Polly what happened why do you look so sad, are you not happy that I like him or something??" I asked. "I know why she isn't happy!!" Diana screamed and the threw her hands in the air. "She also likes Tyler and she doesn't want to have a fight between the two of you over a boy, so she never told us, remember she said that she also had to tell us something? Man, I'm smart." Diana said. "No, Diana this is serious. I can tell. And don't you think you joke around a little too much?" I said (not trying to be mean at all). "Ok, so the thing I had to tell was that... oh how do I put this together?" Polly said, "Tyler has a girlfriend in wherever he used to live before!" She said really fast. "H-how do you know?" I said. " sorry Delilah but the place he used to live in before he came here, he had or still has a girlfriend. And to answer your question, you know how Henry and George are now his best friends? Yea I heard them talking to each other." Polly finally told us. I sat on the ground with tears in my eyes. "He used to live in London, so he had a girlfriend in London." I said randomly.

When I was at home doing my homework when I heard my phone beep. It was a text from our group chat...

Hannah2143:
Hey Delilah r u ok??

Diana0011:
Yea we never got to talk after recess today. U f9??

Polly34:
Hello?? Delilah where r u??

Delilah101:
Yea I'm fine, yea he had a girlfriend so wat? Just cuz I like him doesn't mean he has to like me back. I was just doing my homework.

Polly34:
OMG!!! I JUST GOT A TEXT FROM ALEXA, u no the girl who sits next to me, she told me that Tyler and her girlfriend broke up before he came here because they didn't want a long distance relationship!!!!!!!

Delilah101:
NO WAY!!!!!

Polly34:
YES WAY!!!

Hannah2143:
This calls for a celebration!!

Obvi!! "🎶Get ready to PARTEEEH!!!🎶"

Lol yea sure, treat's on me!! Pizza Hut?? Meet there at 6PM for lunch?

Yup lets go.

Polly34:
Then sleepover at my place.

At Pizza Hut:

We found a table with 4 seats. "Medium veggie pizza, toppings: green pepper, mushrooms and onions???" I asked the rest. "Our favourites!" They all said. I gave the order and came back to the table. After a few minutes the pizza came everybody took 2 slices and there were 2 more left. While we were eating somebody came dragging a chair behind them with a plate sat beside me and took the other 2 slices. I turned to see who it was. Diana, Hannah and Polly were all smiling. I just stared in shock. "You?!" I said
