Love Is Unpredictable

Chapter One

It's been a long time since school started, it was a tough year, every day I would think about what I had done that made my life shatter into a million pieces. Why, why did that idiot do that to me?! Why,why,why!!!

Flashback:
"Waiter!", yelled Josh (my ex-boyfriend), "can you please come take our order?"
"Yes sir, what would you like?", Josh looked at me and I told him that I wanted the usual, (we were at Mandarin) , "we want to have the buffet...for 2" he said smiling.
'Man he is so cute', I said in my head.

"Hey babe I'm gonna go run to the bathroom k?", He said, "sure come quickly, I wanna take out the food with you" I said.

'Ring ring ring', "ooh who is this" I said as I picked up Josh's phone, 'Angelina' it read. When I saw the profile picture I saw a really beautiful girl kissing Josh on the lips! 'Josh if this turns out you cheating on me, you are dead' I thought as I answered the phone with trembling hands. "Hello?", I said, "Hi, maid give the phone to Josh please, tell him it's his girlfriend", she replied. "Girlfriend?!", I screamed, "I'm his girlfriend!, I can't believe he cheated on me!", I said almost crying (I guess she could tell because she was trying to comfort me). "Here I have an idea", she said, "lets make a plan to meet at a restaurant and give him a huge scolding!" "There is no need to book at a restaurant, we are already on a 'date' (quotation fingers), so why don't you just come over, we are at Mandarin", I told her, "k I'm coming, by the way what's your name?", She asked. "I can't tell you right now, because I think he is coming back, bye!"
I quickly put the phone back.
'When Josh came back I tried to smile and not cry AND not be obvious about the plan. "Hey babe sorry I took a long time", he said, "don't worry I don't mind because I learned a lot while you were gone", I said as I held back my tears. "Huh?", he asked, "n-nothing lets go take our food".

*Fifteen minutes later...*

*sounds of forks and plates*
"Josh you fu**ing idiot!", Angelina screamed and all heads turned towards us, "how can you freaking cheat on me?! You said you were at your cousins house and can't come over to my place, but nooooo you had to lie to me and go on a date with another girl!", After she was done: "Yeah and can you please explain the profile picture of you two lip-kissing?! You have never kissed me on the lips and this is our first date over the last 6 months!" I screamed. "6 months?! He's been dating me over the last 2 years!" Angelina said, and when she did it felt like some one stabbed me in my heart. "You know what Josh... WE. ARE.THROUGH!" Me and Angelina said at the same time. Then we did a typical drink splashing thing on him and stormed out the restaurant.

And that was my grade 7 break up story.

"Earth to Delilah, earth to Delilah", my friends said, "sorry guys I was just thinking about something", I lied. "Delilah you know you can't lie, and you were thinking about Josh right?" Diana asked. "Oh wait you don't know about Josh right?", Polly asked Hannah, "No, no I know we used to talk every single day", said Hannah.

*moment of silence*

"I have totally lost faith in love after the 'Josh incident', even if I ever start falling in love again I would never get into a relationship again." I said breaking the silence. "Delilah haven't we had this talk before", Polly said, "yeah it's not like you won't ever get married or anything... or do you want to be single until you are a grandma with a billion cats in your old apartment" Diana said making us all laugh.

Maybe Diana is right.... I should get over Josh.
