THE FLARED GREEN LIGHTS BEAM DOWN ON THE JOYFUL TEENAGERS. Halloween night. October thirty first. Excitment practically bouncing off the walls. Lyra finally feels happy with her friends dancing around her. Music turned up all the way but she couldn't care less.
Theo watches the girl in awe. Manily shocked at how much energy she has. He could fall straight to sleep right now but he knows it will change once he's had something to drink.
Elaine leans to Lyra's ear and yells over the music "We should play truth or dare". Lyra instantly grins at her friends suggestion. Normally she would be reluctant to do so but she has already had a few drinks and couldn't feel more alive. She's up for anything.
Once Lyra nods, Elaine begins to spread the idea through the group. Lyra turns to Theo who is stood directly behind her. He's prompt by the girls sudden interest in him. "Come on Teddy, we're going to play truth or dare" Taking his hand, they follow the eager teenagers, slightly away from the loud music and chants.
Lyra sits beside Theo, everyone in a tight formed circle. "Who's idea was this?" Mattheo appears sober, which is extremely rare now a days. "Your sisters" Lrya giggles like a little girl.
"I'll start, Daphne truth or dare?" Blaise gets straight to the point. After a moment, the blonde decides. "Truth". Elaine slides a vial of Veritaserum out of her dress pocket. Daphne takes it gladly and sips a drop of it before handing it back to her friend.
"What are your feelings toward Draco?" Draco flushes red from the question. Daphne looks to him with a wide smile. "He's hot" Theo chuckles at her blunt reply, followed by the others laughing. "My turn" She pretends as if she never said it.
"Ly, truth or dare?"
Lyra thinks for a moment before answering proudly "Dare". Daphne glances to Theo. He immediately understands the gesture and sighs. "I dare you to kiss Theo"
The two teenager's faces light up. Lyra turns to him and gently asks "We don't have to if you don't want to". Theo shakes his head, regretting it after, coming off too forward. "It's fine"
Lyra slowly leans towards him. The groups watching the scene with wide eyes. Course everyone knew they had a thing for each other but never thought they'd personally see their first kiss.
Theo moves with her body movements as he places a hand on her waist. Their longing gazes connect and before she knows it, she's leaning in until their lips crash together. Lyra's hand finding its way to his cheek before running through his soft brown hair.
