Nora walked into the Angel Grove fundraiser fair at her school and smiled at all the different options to raise money that year. Obviously, she chose the usual options:
Book fair.
Basketball match
Magic show -which she knew she would bail out of because of her anxiety.
But for once, she saw an activity that looked daunting, yet promising...
Skydiving.
The girl felt drawn to the sign-up sheet...

"Hey guys! Look at all the fundraisers!" Billy said with a large amount of excitement whilst signing up for a charity science experiment.
"This is all so cool! Hey, let's meet back here in five and find some stuff to do together," Tommy exclaimed whilst grabbing onto Kimberly's hand and walking away.
Adam, Aisha, Billy and Rocky each went their seperate ways, going to a different part of the corridor. Adam was blindly looking around at all the sheets, finding one for an orchestra and martial arts. Still recovering from his mother's passing, he walked away from the orchestra sheet and went to write him and Tommy's name on the martial arts showcase. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a girl cowering towards a table.
She had soft, blonde hair that framed her pale face, with wide green eyes that often looked down. Her slender frame was always slightly hunched, as if trying to make herself smaller. Dressed in simple, modest clothes, she exuded a quiet, introverted charm that made her easily overlooked.
Whilst he drank in the girl's appearance, he saw Bulk and Skull trot towards her, determined.
"Hey, newbie!" Bulk sneered, blocking her path. "Where do you think you're going?"
Skull snickered, echoing his friend's menacing tone. "Yeah, what's with the new kid?"
The girl, Nora, stood her ground, her eyes blazing with defiance. Adam, ready to intervene, paused when he saw her demeanor shift. Instead of cowering, she smirked at the bullies.
"You want to see something cool?" Nora asked, her voice dripping with confidence.
Bulk and Skull exchanged confused glances before nodding. "Sure, why not?"
Without warning, Nora sprang into action. She executed a series of flawless taekwondo moves, her kicks and punches slicing through the air with precision. Bulk and Skull stumbled back, eyes wide with shock and fear. Nora's movements were a mesmerizing blend of power and grace, and it was clear she was in complete control.
Adam watched in awe, his heart pounding with admiration. As Nora finished her impromptu demonstration, the bullies scrambled to their feet and fled, muttering excuses.
"That was amazing," Adam said, stepping forward as Nora dusted herself off.
Nora turned, a hint of surprise in her eyes. "Thanks," she replied, a shy smile tugging at her lips.
"I'm Adam," he introduced himself, feeling a little awkward. "I haven't seen you around before. Are you new here?"
Nora shook her head. "No, I've been here all along. Just... kind of kept to myself."
Adam nodded, understanding. "Well, you certainly made an impression today. Where did you learn to fight like that?"
"My dad taught me," Nora said. "He's a black belt in taekwondo. It's kind of our thing."
"That's really cool," Adam replied, genuinely impressed. "I do martial arts too. We should train together sometime."
Nora's eyes lit up. "I'd like that."
They stood there for a moment, an awkward silence settling between them. Then, Adam asked, "So, what else do you like to do?"
"Magic tricks," Nora said, her face brightening. "I love the way they can surprise and amaze people. It's like... creating a little bit of wonder."
"That's awesome," Adam said, smiling. "Maybe you could show me some tricks sometime."
"Sure," Nora agreed. "And thanks for being nice. It's... not something I'm used to."
"Anytime," Adam said warmly. "We're friends now, right? Friends are there for each other."
"Yeah," Nora said softly. "Friends."
As they walked back toward the school, the rest of the Power Rangers team emerged from the building, having witnessed the whole scene from afar. Tommy, Kimberly, Rocky, Billy and Aisha shared knowing looks and grins.
"Hey, Adam!" Tommy called out, a teasing note in his voice. "Who's your new friend?""Someone special?" Kimberly added with a wink.
Adam felt his cheeks flush. "Guys, this is Nora. She's... she's amazing."
Nora waved shyly, and the team greeted her warmly.
"Welcome to the group, Nora," Aisha said. "Any friend of Adam's is a friend of ours."
"Thanks," Nora said, feeling a sense of belonging she hadn't experienced before.
As she walked away to her next class, Adam's friends nudged him playfully.
"Looks like someone has a crush," Rocky teased.
"Shut up," Adam muttered, but he couldn't help the smile that spread across his face.
Nora glanced back over her shoulder, catching Adam's eye. They shared a brief, warm smile before she disappeared into the crowd, leaving Adam with a hopeful feeling in his heart.
