CHAPTER 1

It was a Friday night when Lily was checking on her patients.....After checking on them she was on her way to her cabin when suddenly she got a call from her mom...

[Lily's mom] - Hello Lily , where are you? It's allready 11:15. Are you ok....
Did something happen? Where the heck are you girl???

[Lily] - MOM!!! calm down... did you forget I have the whole day shift today...?? (Sign...)

[Lily's mom] - Ooo I forget about that....buy the way take care ok..... Good night...

[Lily] - It's ok mom buy the way you should also have some almond to sharpen your memory miss...... What if one day you forget your daughter.....

[Lily's mom] - YOU GIRLLLLLL.........

[Lily] - ok byyyy love you good night....

After some time...

Lily was going through one of her patient's report when suddenly it started raining heavily... she thought to take some rest, and went near window... She thought to click some photos of rain...and again went back to her work....
She heard a knock on her door....
Come in!!! said Lily....
A nurse came in while panting.....
(Lily) - Hey what happened why are you panting so hard....??
(Nurse) - Dr. Lily...... Patient no. 105 is not able..... to b..breathe.... We tried everything... Please come....
(Lily) - What!! Let's go fast!!!!

Lily's pov

As I heard her saying this I ran out with my stethoscope.....
As I went in the room I saw him trying to breathe.... Sweat was all over his forehead... eyes were barely open...... I ran towards him..... took my stethoscope and put it on his chest....his heartbeat was so slow....
I told nurse to bring the xxxx injection.... I injected him with the xxxx dose..... and then my eyes went on his neck. There was mark... looks like someone bit him on his neck....
A frawn appeared on my face.... I wanted to ask him but he was not in the condition to speak..... So I thought to ask it later. I asked nurse to treat his wound. And with that I left from there.....
It was around 2:20 when the rain stopped and the cool breeze was only present in the environment.....

And again I went for another round.....
And like this it was morning... It was around 7:10 I packed my things and moved to the parking area....Took my car keys out and started the engine.....
After driving for half an hour I reached home. I saw my mom working in the kitchen and my dad watching news.... As I entered the dining area dad noticed me.....
(Lily's dad) - hey Lily!!! You are back...btw how was your whole day shift......
(Lily) - Hiii dad , hi mom... Dad how is it supposed to be.... I performed surgeries and checked on patients.. same as always.... (Sign)... Ok dad I'll go and take a bath...
I entered inside my room and straight away went to bath...
After some time I changed into this....

I went down and sat with dad who was watching news....
(News Reporter) - A big news is coming that a man was killed and was found in the dark alley.... His body was sent for postmortem and the doctors are saying that there is a mark on his neck, seems like someone has bited him and due to shock he was dead......
Suddenly dad changed the channel.....saying that how is it even possible....and then I remembered that the same mark was on that patient......God what is even happening.....
I quickly dialled the nurse no...
(Lily) - hello.. hey have you checked on the patient 105?? Did you asked him what happened.....?
(Nurse) - yes Dr. I asked him and he told. AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaa
(Lily) - hey what happened answer me.....hello what happened.....are yo...
Lily's pov
I heard the nurse scream.... What's going on there Oooo God and why did she cut the call.... I need to go there....
(Lily) - Dad and mom I need to go to hospital something happened there....
(Lily's mom) - Lily atleast have you breakfa.....
(Lily) - sorry mom it's emergency I need to go....
I quickly changed and went straight to car. I drove off to the hospital....
I reached inside the building and asked the wordboy about nurse....he directed me to room no. 64. I went in and saw her resting... I went near her and saw the same mark on her neck...
Now it's getting out of hands..... I need the answers of questions.... What the actual fuck is happening...... Something is not right... I need to check the CCTV cameras.....I hurriedly went to surver room and asked the security to let me see the footage.....
I checked all the footages of the 1st floor but there was nothing.....and the last footage I checked was store room footage and the thing I saw made me scared to hell.....I zoomed the footage and saw a man sucking the nurse's
b..blood....I got goosebumps all over my body.....and then the computer screen suddenly blancked off.... Ooo so the camera was covered by the man....
I never believed in any supernatural powers.. no this is not true th..this can't be true...before going out I quickly clicked the photos of the scene...I came out and and went straight to my cabin. I dialled Rose's no...
Rose pov
As I was working on my laptop suddenly my phone buzzed I picked up and saw it was Lily's call... I picked up the call
(Rose) - Hey Lily what's up...
(Lily) - hey I need to talk to you. Please call Olivia and tell her to reach the location I am sending.... Please come fast...
(Rose) - Lily are you all right is everything fine...
(Lily) - God you ask so many questions just do what I say come fast..
(Rose) - Hey first answ....
As I was about to ask her she cutted my call...This girllll
I quickly called Olivia and told her to come on the shared location....
What is she up to... God I'm scared....
Lily's pov
I also reached to the near by cafe where I called them...
Few mins later I saw both of them coming towards me.... We sat near the window and ordered three expresso...
(Olivia) - Lily what's the matter what you wanted to tell us.....
(Lily) - Guys actually I want to tell and show you something.....
(Olivia) - WAIT DID YOU GET A BOYFRIEND.....
She excitedly said...
She shouted as everyone present there looked at us....
(Lily) - Are you out of your nut brain or what. Why the heck you shouted man... It's not that and when it will happen I'll tell you first....
(Olivia) - smiling awkwardly... well whatever... Btw what were you saying.....
(Rose) - Ooo God will you please shut your mouth and listen to her for once Olivia....
(Olivia) - (pouted in anger)
Lily explained them every thing and both of them were hella shocked...
(Lily) - Guys and this, I clicked some photos so we have some proof with us....
(Rose) - Lily this all is d..done by v.. vampires...
(Lily) - Rose there is nothing like these things it's just our imagination
(Olivia) - (in serious tone) no Lily these things are real we know you don't believe in supernatural powers but they actually exist....
(Lily) - but....
(Rose) - and how will you explain this Lily, this is true they exist....
(Lily) - What if this is some psycho or a serial killer??.....
(Olivia) - no Lily it's not... I know I am silly but in these things we know far better than you..... This is done by a vampire only, you believe it or not.....
(Rose) - Guys I think we should go it's about to rain... And Lily we'll definitely talk about it later Ok....and guys please take care of yourselves.....

And with that both of them left...Lily also left after paying the bill....
Lily reached the hospital and one last time went to see the nurse. She was sleeping peacefully... Lily decided not to distrub her and left from there... She went to the parking area, went inside the car and drove off to her house... And after sometime it started raining heavily, the dark clouds took over the sky and cold breeze started.... As Lily was driving her eyes catch on something... She saw a lady struggling with a man..... She was about to get of the car when suddenly the man in black coat attacked on the lady's neck.... Lily saw this in atter shock... Something came in her mind and she get off from the car to help the lady... She don't want the killer or whatever should kill another person.... She went straight in the alley and......

Will Lily also become his prey or she will save the lady.....
