Chapter 13 - How Could I Thank You

"Freen, let's go to clinic, you are not eating properly, I know the doctor here" Nam said

Freen and her sister came to Chiang Mai, for shopping. Nam try to bring her to the clinic, said she is worried about her health.

'What for?' Freen sign

"Just check up. Look at you, you don't want to eat anything, always tired. I am worried, what if Dad says, I can't even looked after my sister"

Nam dragged Freen towards the clinic, there she meet a medicine doctor, the doctor checked Freen's body asked for any uneasiness in her body, Freen said she had slight cramping, lately she felt nausea, doesn't want to eat anything. Asked about her period, she answered its little late.

The doctor smile, asked her to take pregnancy test, then they can consult a Gynecologist.

When they came out of the clinic, Nam is muttering, saying the doctor became mental. Why she indicate her sister is pregnant.

Freen took out her notepad and write, then show to Nam
"Please buy a pregnancy test kit."

"Are you serious? Are you going to joined that mental doctor?"

Freen nod her head. Nam looked at her sister for long enough, then went towards a nearby chemist.

Freen is standing there. She took a deep breathe, and thought the doctor might be true. Now she has doubt.

The two sisters were sitting on the bed.
Waiting for the result to show.

First Freen look, she closed her eyes, immediately Nam took it from her hand, then looked, it shows positive.

Freen just sit silently and Nam is so shocked.

Nam didn't pressure her, they just stayed next to eachother for while, then at last she asked

"Who is the father?"

Freen just stayed silent. Nam asked again

"Do I know him?"

Freen can't run, she better told her sister.
So, she took her notepad and write, then show to her sister.

"Becky"

Nam snort and look at her sister, like she is someone who doesn't know how to write.

"Freen, I know I do comedy from time to time, but not this kind of Comedy. Are you insane?"

Freen sign 'it's true'

"How could, how could Becky be father, Becky is a girl"

Freen just sigh, she have to explain it
"She is a girl, who has working penis"

Nam looked at the notepad, from every angle, like it will change when she see from different angle, Freen just rolled her eyes.

"You mean she has penis and you two had sex before"

Freen didn't answered, Nam know, she took deep breath
"Why you two didn't used protection, don't you know about safe sex, are you two kids?"

Freen just stayed silently.
First Nam laugh, then it change into cry. Its like she doesn't know how to react, should she be happy or sad.

"Oh my,, Freen, what is, I.. uh I ...I don't really know what to say. But I want to say congratulations"
Nam is just shock.

"Are you going to keep the baby"
Again she asked

"I don't know"
Freen show her Notepad

"Should I call Becky?"

Freen shake her head, she need deep thinking before she took next steps.
