Chapter 22 - Don't You Love Me?

"Dear, Mom is going to say something,  please don't get panic.
Your wife, she meet an accident, now she is in hospital.
Som is on his way, he will pick you up"

Freen dropped her phone and couldn't move her body.
Her eyes filled with tears, her breathing become difficult, she couldn't believe her mother-in-law words.

Few hours before, she talk with her wife. She doesn't know how long she has been like that.

She just snaps out when she heard her daughter cry and she move her body and pick up her daughter, hold her tightly and ran towards the door.

She has been waiting for Mr. Som, her mother driver. She is pacing back and forth in front of the mansion, holding her daughter.

Miss Bea come out and asked whats the matter, Freen doesn't know what to say, she just cry a river. Bea took Sara on her arm and asked Freen to sit, but she just continue pacing around.

Suddenly the car enter the mansion, Freen took her daughter from Bea and just climbed in the back seat with her daughter, Bea talk with Som. Freen doesn’t know what they are talking about.

She just tapped Som's shoulder asked him to drive the car. Bea said so many supportive words but Freen couldn't concentrate any of her words, only thing she want is to reach the hospital as soon as possible.

After 10 min of drives, they reached the hospital, Freen follow Mr Som, they reached  in-front of surgery room, there she meet her mother-in-law. As soon as  Praew saw her, she hugged her.

Freen came to know that Becky meet an accident when she was leaving the office. A big truck crash to her car. Her mother-in-law said Becky is in surgery room for about an hour.

Freen couldn't controlled her tears, she has been crying for too long.

"Hey dear, don't cry. Nothing will be happened to her, she is a very tough girl. Nothing will happened. Have faith. Come let me hold my granddaughter, you must be tired"

Freen shake her head, but Praew took her sleeping daughter. Sara has been sleeping since they were on the car.

She has been pacing around looking at the door, her mother-in-law asked her to sit, but she couldn't, she is so anxious.

After half an hour, the door swung opened, there come out a tall doctor, with his two companions

"Rebecca's family "

Freen rush towards him, her mother-in-law too come, holding Sara.

"Yes, we are her family" Praew answered

"I am Dr. Sky, the patient is stable now. She loss some blood, most are superficial injuries, but her right legs has few problem. But don't worry, we will try all possible way to fix that, but for now we need some observation."

"Can we see her, Dr. Sky?"
Praew asked

"Yeah sure, she is in ICU and unconscious for now. We don't know when she will wake up, we gave sedative for her pain. After some observation she can transfer to a room."

Praew asked a private room for her daughter. After that doctors leave them.

A nurse inform that they can see the patient, but only one person.
Her mother-in-law asked her to go. Freen thank her mother-in-law.

"Don't worry go, I will be here"

Freen followed the nurse, and her heart broke to see her wife condition, engage with those monitor machine on her body, her right leg is covered with cast, her cute face is full of scratch mark, few stitches on her lips, forehead, on arm.
