Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

I sighed. No matter what they did I would not give in. I grab a bag of chips and walked into the living room. Mandy and Ashley were huddled around Katie's laptop. I ignored them and popped in a movie, Grease, my favorite. I felt my eyelids getting heavy and soon after I gave in to sleep.

I woke up when I felt my phone vibrate under my hand. It was notifications from twitter. I opened it up. OMG I have 2,000 new followers. I look at my wall I had five new mentions.

OH MY GOD "MANDY, ASHLEY GET OVER HERE!" I scream and I hear two sets of feet running over to me.

"What is the meaning of this!?!" I showed them my phone and their mouths dropped open forming an O

They high fived each other as Mandy too out her laptop.

"Sign into your email." Mandy handed me the laptop and I entered my email and password. I had 1 new message.

Dear Adrianna Moran, 

We have seen your audition and you are accepted! Congratulations we will text or call you soon with the details. You have to meet with One Direction and Simon and the meeting will explain the competition in detail and tell you about the next stage. Thank you for entering.

"I didn't audition," I said to myself then looked up and glared at Ashley and Mandy. They were smiling evilly.

"We had a video that we took of you singing in the closet," Mandy explained then pulled up a page on the laptop. I saw a video and played it. You see me in the closet walking and dancing while singing "Titanium" I gasped. I was singing loudly. Thank god I was trying otherwise I would've looked very stupid. I walked up and smacked Mandy and Ashley.

"I can't believed you did this!" I yelled at them over and over again. After a while I stopped and I realized something. I've always wanted my singing to be heard but I always had stage fright and never performed. I wasn't the happiest that I had to go through One Direction to do it but I would deal with it.

"Thank you guys, I would've never auditioned for anything like this because I'm afraid, so thank you for doing it for me." I smiled as they came over to hug me.

Suddenly my phone started ringing and the caller ID was a number I didn't recognize. "Hello?" I said to the unknown caller.

"Hi this is Simon Cowell, I'm calling to give you the details for the meeting." I started freaking out inside OMG Simon Cowell! OK OK calm down! "Oh yes,"I calmy said.  

"There were ten people picked, mostly girls. You were one of them congratulations. Are you available to meet today?" He asked and I quickly said yes. "Great meet at the Fortress Hotel in London at 2:00 PM you will meet the other contestants and One Direction."

"Okay thank you so much," I hung up and Mandy and Ashley looked at me intently. I told them everything he said and they squealed when I said I was meeting One directions. I didn't really care much for meeting them but this was a big opportunity for me in the singing career. I looked at the clock 12:00 PM

"Oh I have to go get ready!" I went to go to hop into the shower. When I got out I dried my hair quickly and brushed it. My hair was naturally straight so I didn't style it or anything. I applied just a little bit of eyeliner and mascara and that's all. I put on an orange shirt with a lace back and skinny jeans with a pair of cute brown boots. The clock read 1:30 when I finished getting ready. I checked my phone and I had a text from Simon.

We are sending a car for you it should be there soon ~Simon

Just as I read the text I heard a beep outside. As I raced out the door I waved goodbye to Mandy and Ashley and I heard them wish me good luck as I closed the door behind me.

I walked into a big building called the Fortress Hotel. It was giant and looked like a castle on the inside.I was lead into a separate room and was told to wait there. There was two couches and a table filled with snacks. I immediately made my way over to the snack table. "I see you like popcorn," I hear a thick Irish accent from behind me. I take my hand out of the popcorn bowl and turned around. A familiar looking guy stood in front of me. He had blonde hair but you can see his dark roots. His bright blue eyes stared curiously into mine.

"Oh I like all food not just popcorn," I say and turn to pick up a pretzel.

"You sound just like me," he chuckled and made his way over to the table. "What's your name? he asked looking at me. I swallowed quickly causing me to choke a little. I start coughing and his his eyes register alarm. "Are you okay?" He grabs a water bottle and quickly hands it to me. I take it and drink a few gulps of water and sighed. I stiffened when I realized that he had his hand on my back. He must've realized also because he removed it and stepped back. I held out my hand.

"Adrianna." He took my hand and smiled.

"Niall," and that's when it dawned on me. He was Niall Horan from On Direction.

Well I still have a lot more written but my hands hurt from typing haha :-P as you can tell I'm lazy.
