Chapter 6

Chapter 6:

I fell onto my familiar bed. I kept replaying the previous day over and over. I felt the bed move and I looked up to see Mandy and Ashley. They are smiling widely at me.

"How was it?"

"What did you do?" I was getting overwhelmed with all the questions. "I saw what happened on the news," that got my attention. I look at Ashley.

"What do you mean?" I asked, biting my nails.

"We saw that you had to go with One Direction," Mandy is jumping up and down when Ashley said One Direction.

"Oh yea, well we just hung out and I guess they are my friends now." They both squealed with excitement and I rolled my eyes. I remembered that I was supposed to check my email so I made my way over to my laptop. I opened up my email and I could feel Mandy and Ashley over my shoulder watching me. I had one new email.

Dear Adrianna,

The theme for the performance is songs by One Direction so your song we would like you to sing is Magic. You may adjust the lyrics to your style. Your listening appointment is in a couple days do not forget.

I was confused. I never heard that song before. I looked it up on youtube with the lyrics and listened to the upbeat tune. When I had listened to the song about 50 times I had most of the words memorized. When I decided to take a break I went down to the kitchen to find some food. There was a note on the fridge:

Adrianna, 

We had to go out and run some errands we didn't want to disturb you're learning session. You sound great xx 

I sighed. There was a noise from my phone and I saw it was a DM from twitter.

@Niallofficial: Hey do you have a Skype? 

@AdriannaM75: Yes it's the same as my twitter name 

@Niallofficial: Okay I'm adding you

I went to my laptop and saw a friend request on skype. I accepted it and soon there was an incoming call. I accepted it.

"Hey there stranger," I giggle as Niall's sparkling blue eyes filled the screen.

"Niall back away from the camera, you're too close." He laughs and backs up.

"Did you see the song we chose for you?" I nod and his grin grows wider. I noticed something.

"Didn't you have braces? I saw them in a photo my friend showed me once," he nods and keeps smiling.

"I just got them off the day before I met you." He nods and keeps smiling He was showing off is teeth and I clapped in approval.

"Very nice Mr. Horan," I joked.

"Oh I have to go," Niall says suddenly. "The boys and I have an interview. Watch us on channel 23!" He waves and ends the cal before I can wave back. I had nothing to do so I went downstairs to watch the interview.

The interviewer had just introduced One Direction and began to ask the questions.

"So boys with this new contest that's happening do you see any extremely talented people?" Sally the interviewer asks.

"Yes, they are all talented but there are some that are very special." Liam spoke up and Sally nodded along with him.

"Okay I know everyone is wondering but which of you are single and which have girlfriends?"
