The next day, Adrien is still becoming more neglected every day from his father who barely spends time with him. Nathalie does all the support than him which doesn't make it any better. Even with Plagg's company, Adrien still felt upset.

"Meow" Plagg meowed.

"Don't. I can hardly remember what love feels like anymore. Especially attention that I barely remember. This mansion doesn't feel like home to me anymore" Adrien said, barely having any joy since his father stopped being a father to him except to give him activities like piano lessons and Chinese, this was like his father just pushing him further away.

"It feels like I lost my dad a long time ago" He pets Plagg's head.

Plagg nuzzled his friend's hand, "But still, being a thief is what drives me out of insanity" Adrien said, knowing he didn't gain powers from a radioactive cat, he would never be free.

He leans back on his bed. He remembers how much his rage triggers something inside him like an inner demon to come to life which was why he became a thief in the shadows for 2 years, away from being seen by Ladybug focusing on bad guys while he gets away from robbery.

"Father will realize too late what he missed. That his own son became a criminal" Adrien thought.

Plagg hides underneath the bed when Nathalie comes inside his room, "Your father will be in his office. You have piano lessons today"

"Right of course" Adrien got up to start his practice.

He walked up to the piano and began playing a tune. Still upset he can barely focus since he has no one to support him and when he gets too pressured to get his father's approval, he only gets scowled by his father to accuses him of not trying hard enough. He slams his fists on the keyboards with a loud tune note blaring. He breathes heavily and slams the cover back down. He noticed his nails feeling sharp from his rage. So he had to calm down so nobody noticed.

"Keep it together, kitty. Mother wouldn't want you to feel so much anxiety building up" Adrien breathes in and out.

He then turned the music note page and selected a song called The Wall Between Us. The play went well for the next few minutes. Even if it's not perfect enough. He didn't want to pressure himself too much by trying too hard. He tapped into his emotions through the play.

He saw his father come in with Nathalie to see his progress if he practiced or not. Nathalie was a bit supportive but Gabriel only cares about perfection. She worries that if he pressures him again, it will only upset Adrien too much to one day hate his father.

Adrien kept playing but Gabriel raised his hand to stop, "Well?" Adrien waited for an answer.

"I expect more effort, Adrien. You're not trying hard enough" Gabriel replied.

Adrien growled at his unsupportive approval. He tried so hard for weeks and this is what he gets, "Can I be alone, please?" He looks away to hold in his tears.

Gabriel did not like that tone but Nathalie stopped him before he put too much pressure on Adrien which is not a good idea.

"Adrien how could you.." He was cut off.

"I think we better do as he says," Nathalie said and they left Adrien in the room alone.

"Gabriel, you're being too hard on him. Both of you lost Emilie, he's already starting to lose his father more. He's trying so hard but you're only putting too much pressure on him. Sooner or later, you'll lose him more" Nathalie said before heading downstairs.

Gabriel heard a loud shout of frustration in Adrien's room, knowing he was the cause of this but shook it off that Adrien was just overreacting but Gabriel had no idea that Adrien was starting to lose trust in his father. He ignored him and just headed back to his office downstairs.
