Adrien barely got any sleep last night and he wanted to stay home since he's not in the mood to get up. Even Nathalie can see he looks like a mess in bed. Gabriel barely sees his son in the morning and Nathalie hates to tell Adrien his schedule like a routine instead of anything like a normal human nature.

"Just tell him I'm not feeling well," Adrien said before covering himself in his bed sheets, not wanting to argue about this.

"Very well," Nathalie said.

"And please tell him to stop changing every schedule because it gets on my nerves when he changes his mind too quickly without second thoughts" Adrien mumbled under other bed sheets.

"I'll try, Adrien" Nathalie replied. Under the sheath, Adrien took his phone out to chat with Marinette.

It was the only thing that kept him sane instead of lonely all the time. He had mixed feelings about whether he liked Marinette or the hero Ladybug. It was very new to him to love a girl. But it will come in time, he didn't know who Ladybug was behind the mask. He can't risk knowing or it will endanger her, even himself too.

After his chat and nearly almost did his flirty Cat Nour side, he still checks on his laptop for any signs of Volpina anywhere but still nothing.

"You won't be hiding for long, Lila," Adrien said.

Since he was sick, it was time for daylight hiding as Cat Noir. He may be nocturnal but he still loves to lurk around, even scare bad guys around. As much as he wants his cats to strike at his father but he would get too pissed and suspicious to believe his son is the thief.

"When I'm better I'll resume," He thought.

His cat jumped on the bed to see him, "Meow"

"Hello Plagg" He petted him.

"Meow, meow" He meowed for attention.

"Come here, Plagg" Adrien scratched Plagg's chin, "Is that my good kitty? Yes you are" He said and Plagg smiled and nuzzled Adrien.

Like a cat with a very emotional need for attention.

With Marinette, she couldn't stop daydreaming about Adrien. He was charming, handsome, and shy, but also too perfect. Even if he can't disown Chloe for her cruelty.

"Who am I kidding? An average girl like me has no chance of being with him" Marinette said.

She doesn't see him coming to class. She guessed he was sick or needed a day off for himself from all these photoshoots. It wasn't until Ms. Bustier came to inform the class that Adrien was indeed sick. It was the secretary who informed the teacher instead of Gabriel himself, making the class believe that the fashion designer barely ever had any respect in public.

"Oh, poor Adrien," Marinette said.

"Still worried that you can't impress him yet, girl" Alya knows that look.

"Yeah, hardly had time to hang out with him," Marinette said.

"You know his father. Barely makes public views face to face but only on the tablet" Alya said.

"But Adrien does with modeling ads," Marinette said.

"If only he got free time," Alya said.

After class was over, it was lunchtime at the cafeteria which is the worst day because Chloe is always a stuck-up brat to humiliate anyone in the cafeteria with no teacher faculty to witness it. Marinette tried to ignore her with Alya. The classmates never laugh because they know better than to give Chloe entertainment if she ruins an innocent student's life.
