It has only been a few hours since I've last seen Kara....
I already miss her.
She just has that effect on me.

I'm such a hopeless man...
I laid in my bed, thinking about Kara.
But then, I heard someone call my name.
"Ryo, look, your phone's ringing!!!" Jaymie yelled from the kitchen.
I got up, not sure who dialed my number as I headed to the kitchen just to answer the phone.
It was someone named "Marcus".
"Hm..." I hummed as I answered the phone.
"What's upppp my boyyy!" The man on the other side of the phone greeted me.
"Sup dude, life's been great!" I tried to imitate this "Marcus's" vibe.
"Oh? You sound less gloomy than usual...
You already found another girl?" He teased.
"I guess you can... Say that." I grinned childishly.
"Who's the lucky girl?!" He asked excitedly, it's as if he didn't expect "me" to get over whoever this Karyssa is.
I wonder how precious she was to Ryo...
Ehh, there's no way she's better than my Kara, though.
I'm glad Kara met me before she met Ryo...
Maybe she'd fall in love with him...
And I would've stayed the same, cruel, and horrible man I used to be...
No, no, don't think about it..
"Hm, she's not mine... Yet." The big grin was still plastered on my face.
"She must be really pretty, right?" He was still super hyped on the thought
"You kidding? She looks like a goddess, and acts like a saint." I boasted proudly, knowing it described her better than I knew.
"Damn, you gotta introduce me soon!!!" He laughed.
"Not so fast, dude, I barely got to know her and I have to introduce you???" I rolled my eyes.
"Alright, alright... By the way, wanna head to the arcade?!" He asked me, his hyper energy radiating off the phone.
"Nah bro, I'm feeling a little sick, maybe tomorrow?" I coughed once, trying to portray that energy, even though I feel healthier than ever (literally).
"Aight, that's okay, see ya!" He said before hanging up.
I turned towards my sister, who had a smirk plastered on her face.
"You feel sick, huh...? You really do still hate Marcus for getting Karyssa pregnant..."
Hm, that's awkward.
