Timeline: After the war
Sandstone

It wasn't easy living in the Scorpion Den, and Sandstone knew it very well. His life wasn't easy and perfect, he used to be Ex-queen Scarlet's prisoner but after the RainWing venom incident, Queen Ruby pardoned all the prisoners and Sandstone was off to the Scorpion den to reunite with his brothers.

"Sandstone! Over here!" A small SandWing called to him from a cactus juice stand. Another SandWing was cutting the spikes from a cactus with a dagger. They were Coyote and Cactus, his younger brothers.

He flew down to the stand and hugged Cactus, his youngest brother. "I can't believe you're back!" Cactus said. He pulled away. Coyote dropped the dagger he was holding and hugged Sandstone as well. "You came back" Coyote whispered to him.

"How is business going?" He asked, letting go of Coyote. "It's going great! We just closed shop." Cactus answered, carefully picking up the dagger Coyote dropped.

"We've been taking care of ourselves just fine," Coyote said to Sandstorm, he smiled. "I'm glad. How about we go home?" He asked. "How much have I missed?"

A few years later.

Sandstorm was happy living with his brothers for the past years, but business had been going down. "How much have we sold?" He asked Coyote one day, they just closed the shop and were walking home. "Only 10 cups of cactus juice, dragons are leaving the Scorpion Den every day." He answered.

"Well Thorn, or Queen Thorn, rarely takes care of the Scorpion Den. More dragonets are dying each day. Less food or water" Sandstone said, he looked at a poor SandWing family huddled together. "Three moons" He thought.

"Cactus? We're here" Coyote called out, they arrived to their hut. Sandstone laid down on a rug and rested his head on a pillow. His wings felt sore, he hadn't flown in days, he probably forgot how to fly. "I'm right here"

Cactus held some dead lizards and dropped it in front of Sandstone. "I caught dinner, and breakfast" He said, Coyote took a lizard and started eating it. "How we sold much?" He asked.

"Just a few gold" Coyote grabbed some gold from his neck pouch and placed it in front of Cactus. He sighed. "Just a few? I think we should raise our prices." Cactus suggested.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever works for you..." Sandstone mumbled, he looked at the lizard and looked away. Cactus had a worrying look on him, "Sandstone, you okay?" He asked.

Sandstone curled up his tail and shook his head, "No, I'm actually not. I just feel a bit angry at Queen Thorn." He admitted, Coyote sighed again. "There's no need for anger, she's busy keeping future wars in check. She would have no time for the Scorpion Den."

Cactus had his thinking face on, and then he spoke, "How about we take a short flight across the Scorpion Den, hm?" Sandstone immediately stood up, "Yes! I've been dying for a break!"

"Alright then," Coyote headed for the exit, Sandstone and Cactus followed right behind him.
