It was beautiful. Sunny out, the sky a perfect blue, and flowers blooming. The only thing that would make life better is Cindy Granden. Cindy has been, no excuse me, was my best friend since pre-k. Then, last year, in 5th grade, Cindy said I was killing her repetition being her friend. That was that friendship. Oh well, I'm in 6th grade now at a different school. We moved out to the country to cheer up our spirits after we lost my 8 day old brother, Jamison. He was a preemie born at 27 weeks. I miss him and every night before I go to bed, I weep because his presence is no longer here. I was sitting on our porch swing that wonderful March morning, when the sun quickly got buried in dark, stormy clouds. I wondered what was going on, but kept on thinking about my life long issues. It started to all of the sudden rain with such might, it made the whole house shake. "Okay Lieyla, you better get inside. Kansas weather can be crazy hazy." I said quietly to myself. I was trying pull on the door knob to try and get in but the door wouldn't lock. "Lieylanna! Help me! Help me!" I screamed on the top of my lungs. Lieylanna was my twin sister who was inside baking cookies. I also had 4 other siblings. Liza, Harrison, Holton, and Henry. I was yanking with all of my might but the door wouldn't budge. It started to then hail. Then, silence. "LET ME IN!!!!!" I screamed on the top of my lungs. "TORNADO! TORNADO!" It is true. Right then and there, the tornado came at the speed of lightning.
