Torn Apart

         The strange girl turned out to be like us?? I really hope this is a cruel trick. There seems to be a problem. No one has ever lost their memory coming to this island. This must be a sign something is wrong with her. She woke up slowly.

        "I remember everything!" She said.

        Kyle quickly said "What is your name?"

         "Lieyla Jankey" She said. 

       "What a beautiful name" Matthew said. Matthew is the one who lives in this shack. A.K.A. the old guy.

          "There was a tornado in Kansas, where I live, and it took me there." Lieyla said.

         " Kind of sounds like a messed-up version of the wizard of Oz." I said. 

          "The what?" Lieyla said.

         "Do you have a television in Kansas?" Kyle said.

          "No. My mother doesn't believe in television. We use crocheting to entertain ourselves." 

            Kyle's look on his face said that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

           "Um......wow." He said. "Do you want to go out with me?" 

           Lieyla blushed. "That's um... um...oh um......that's, that's cool. We could um work it  out." She nodded her head like she was the coolest person on earth. I respect that.

          At least Kyle gets his first date.  "Y'know. I would've asked ya'll out if I didn't have a girlfriend." I said.

         "Really? Lieyla asked "Who is the girl?" And then, right on que, Bella walked in.
