CHAPTER SEVEN
Are You A Witch?Rosa was still young, only six when her mother was being dragged to the stake. Rosa protested and rioted against it at a young age. But she swore she had nothing to do with the accusations.
"Agatha Harkness, are you a witch?"
"Yes. I am a witch."
"Is your daughter, Rosa Harkness, a witch?"
"Yes. She is."
"Yet you have betrayed your coven."
"I have not!"
"You stole knowledge above your age and station. You practise the darkest of magic and allow your child to know of it."
"I know... I know nothing of these crimes! I... I swear it!" Agatha shouted.
"Enough deception!"
"I did not break your rules. They simply bent to my power." Agatha smirked.
Suddenly, the other witches started chanting in Latin, making Rosa look at her mom with terror. Agatha used her facial expression to assure her that it would be alright.
"Wait. I cannot control it! I... if only you would teach me! Help me! Please! Mother, please!" But she started chanting. "Rosa!"
Rosa knew what to do, she brought up her hands, flicking her wrist to use a protection spell. The mist surrounding her was blue, but it had a hint of purple. She couldn't hear her mother's screams this way. Then purple took over the blue beams, and it started killing the other witches. Agatha broke free of the magical tie and waved her hand. All of the other witches were dead. It was just Agatha, Rosa, and Evanora Harkness. Three generations.
"Please, I can be good."
"No, you cannot." Evanora replied, using every ounce of magic she had to hurt her daughter. The blue headpiece or crown, appeared at her forehead. But Agatha's power was far too strong.
After Evanora dropped to the ground, Agatha looked at her daughter, telling her to drop the protection bubble. "Are you alright, my dear?"
Rosa nodded. Agatha walked towards her mother, taking the button. Then she grabbed a gentle hold on Rosa and they took off.
It cut to when Rosa found a strange black cat. He had a small patch of blue surrounding his right eye.
Agatha picked up the rabbit. "She does look shocked to meet the real us, doesn't she?"
Wanda's eyes started glowing scarlet.
"Oh, that's adorable. Our thoughts are not available to you, toots. Why else do you think you could never read Rosa's thoughts back in Sokovia? They never, ever were. So don't go givin' yourself a migraine. We've got work to do."
"Where are my children?" Wanda questioned with her strong Sokovian accent.
"Where are my children?" Agatha mocked. "That accent really comes and goes, doesn't it?"
