CHAPTER EIGHT
Cue The Credits

Wanda stared at Agatha. "My powers work out here, or did you forget?"

"No, dear. I'm counting on it."

Rosa helped loosen the rope enough without her mother noticing so the boys could try to escape. When they did, they fell backwards, but Wanda used her power to knock Agatha down.

"Go to your room." Wanda instructed.

"No way, we're staying with you." Tommy said.

"Come on, mom, we can help." Billy told her.

"Go, boys." Rosa told them.

"Listen to your mother, boys." Agatha sang.

"Now!" Wanda said through gritted teeth. Tommy sped himself and his brother to their room.

Wanda threw a magic wisp at Agatha, but she caught it. "I take power from the undeserving. It's kinda my thing." When Wanda looked at her hand, Agatha knocked her down.

Rosa looked between the two.

"You're clearly in over your little red head. So, why don't you surrender your magic to someone who knows what to do with it? And I'll let you keep this pathetic little corner of the world all to yourself. What do ya say?" Agatha tried to negotiate.

"Wanda, don't." Rosa warned.

"Whose side are you on, Rosa? You always jump from one to another. So, time to decide." Agatha said.

Rosa looked at Wanda.

Somehow, a version of Vision appeared. And Agatha wisped both her and her daughter away. "You need to choose a side, Rosa."

"I'm not going to hurt her."

"Why? Because she's your friend? And because of Pietro?" Agatha taunted, then disappeared.

Rosa frantically looked around, then she took her hands, twisting them as she flew to where her mom and Wanda were. She saw her knock Wanda to the ground from behind. Rosa brought up her hands and rotated them in a circular motion to push her mother down as well. Agatha flipped her hair, levitating back up after she knocked Rosa to the ground.

"Wanda, you've never been up against another witch before. Did you know there's an entire chapter devoted to you in the Darkhold. That's the book of the damned. 'The Scarlet Witch is not born, she is forged. She has no coven, no need for incantation.'"

"I'm not a witch. I don't cast spells. No one taught me magic!" Wanda hollered.

"Your power exceeds that of the Sorcerer Supreme. It's your destiny to destroy the world."

"I'm not what you say I am." Wanda told her.

"Oh, Wanda..." Agatha started, then she chanted in Latin.

Rosa felt her entire body aching. Her vision started going dark.

Rosa looked around her, it felt all too familiar. It was darkness. A void. "No." She muttered.

She frantically looked around and then she saw the real Pietro. He looked at her.

"Pietro—"

"I know. I know who and what you are, I know what Wanda did... you have to go back there—"

"I can't. Wanda will hate me forever. It's better if I'm dead, for good this time." Rosa spat out.

Pietro cupped the side of her face with his hand. Even though she could barely feel it, she knew what he was doing. "Go. Do what you have to do." Pietro told her, kissing the top of her head. She still couldn't feel it.

She looked up at him.

"Give them hell."

"I don't really think that hel—" Pietro gave her a look. "Okay, I'll give them hell."

Rosa's eyes opened with violet circling her irises. She pushed herself up off the ground and stormed off to find her mother. That's when she saw S.W.A.T. like trucks or tanks coming in. Rosa waved her hand and sent one flying.

As she saw the boys, an ice cream truck railed into one of the trucks. Rosa didn't know where Wanda and her mom went, so she looked up at the sky. That's when she saw red and runes. Then Agatha and Wanda went to the ground level.

Rosa didn't know how long she had been knocked out for.

Night started to fall shortly after and Wanda pulled Rosa aside. "I will let you go, but only because I know you were doing this for your mother. That is the only reason. If I ever see you again, I will not hesitate to fight against you." Wanda told her.

"I understand." Rosa told her. "And I'm sorry for what you have to do."

Rosa gave her a sad smile, grabbed Skit carefully, then once the barrier was down, she flew out of Westview with Skit in hand.

Rosa understanding why Wanda doesn't want to see her, and respecting that is just...

And her seeing Pietro in the void is...
