Sana's POV

I was so late because of Momo, she literally made me eat everything that she cooked, and I didn’t have any choice.

I just sprinted in the company building hoping that no one saw me. I went into the demo room and found a familiar face.

It’s Tzuyu, she’s the newbie that has everything that we are looking for. I didn’t know that she’s into technology. She barely makes eye contact to everyone in the room. I guess she’s preventing herself from being nervous.

She ended her demonstration and I saw a few unsure looks of the board members. I can feel Tzuyu's nervousness and it’s not good… I have to do something to calm her down.

“Ahem, Ma’am, your turn to speak…” My secretary whispered in my ear.

I removed my shades and stood up from my chair. I knew she was surprised to see me. And I was feeling the same earlier when I saw that it was her.

“Ms. Chou… what a very informative presentation, though I found a few… no… many mistakes…” I said.

I felt her heart beating so fast… no way… my plan is not working, I was just kidding, she barely made a mistake!

“But I really liked your presentation.” I said that made the board members look at me.

“Ma’am, we have seen a lot of flaws…” One board member said.

“Flaws… yes… no eye contact, stuttering… lots of stutters, nervous expressions, stiff movements, always looking at the screen, didn’t finish on time, and unconfident… but it’s not your decision, I’m just grabbing the details of your decisions… these are a lot, but just minor issues that we can improve throughout the training process… do you have any objections?” I asked.

“Aren’t we having this decision without her in the room?” Another one asked.

“Nope… we’re doing it right here, right now, calm yourself down.” I said giving Tzuyu a glass of water.

She took the glass from me, and her hands were shaking, so she laid it on the table.

“Anymore objections?” I asked.

No one bothered to speak again, and they all had the smile on their faces making me know that they like her already as their new co-worker.

“You’re hired, congratulations.” I said and gave her my hand.

“Thank you…” She said and shook my hand.

“Alright, this meeting has ended, you may now go back to your workplaces, thank you so much.” I said.

They all congratulated Tzuyu before heading out and when only the both of us were in the room, I pulled her in a hug to congratulate her for her magnificent work.

“I didn’t know you’re the newbie.” I said.

“I didn’t know you’re the boss.” She said.

“Well… you did an excellent job, and I’m looking forward to seeing you work as you stay here.” I said.

“That’s pressure…” She said.

“Well… we all work under it, you can’t have the special treatment.” I laughed.

“Isn’t this weird? I’m dating my boss?” She asked.

“Technically, your boss’s boss’s boss’s boss’s boss.” I said.

“Well, I’m dating my boss’s boss’s boss’s boss’s boss.’’ She said.

“That’s not in our rule book, as long as you’re working hard, and doesn’t let your personal problems get into your work.” I said.

“Why are you so… you know… professional? I’m not used to it.” She said.

“I’m just being the boss… now… this deserves a date… free this night?” I asked.

“Yeah, sure…” She answered.

“Right, I’ll pick you up at 6, better get their asses out of their chair with your work.” I said.

“Total pressure.” She laughed.

“I’m going ahead and be a boss, your marshal will take you to your cubicle.” I said and left the room.
