Missing piece

"Good morning, Mom." A beautiful man in his thirties greeted the old lady sitting on the head of the dining table.
"Hmm, good morning, Jungkook." The lady greeted him while putting the butter on the bread.
"Haha you lost the race." A cute giggle of a six year old boy was heard who came running towards the dining table. He quickly hugged Jungkook's leg.
Jungkook kneeled down, hugging his son
"I told you not to run like this, didn't I?" A ten year old girl with a little strict voice asked.
Jungkook chuckled at his daughter's care for his cute little son.

"Don't scold my gukkie. Come babies have breakfast." He made his both children sit on the dining table serving then breakfast.

"Eat quickly." He said packing their school bags.

"When will you return?" The lady asked Jungkook.

"Ma, I think I don't have any meetings in the afternoon. So, I will just attend brunch." Jungkook replied sitting next to Gukkie feeding him.

"A brunch?" The lady asked again

"Yes Ma, actually It's been nine years since Yoonmin got married. So they wanted to celebrate it with some close friends this time." Jungkook replied to her politely.

"Ohh Taegi, Gukkie, look your dad started messaging me, he is getting late. Let's go quickly." Jungkook said holding his daughter's hand.
He then looked at his mother-in-law and said,"Ma, I will try to come early."
He said going with his kids.

He made his children sit in the school bus waving them bye and quickly called Taehyung "Tae, I came out. Where are you?"
"I will reach in two minutes." Taehyung replied cutting the call.

After one year of marriage they were blessed with an alpha daughter, Kim Taegi and four years later another blessing in the form of a cute little omega son, Kim Taekoo, who they call Gukkie, came into their beautiful life.

"Let's go" Taehyung said holding Jungkook's hand leading his inside the huge decorated garden.
As the couple entered they were soon hugged by Jimin.
"You guys finally came." Jimin exclaimed breaking the hug.
Taehyung went to meet Yoongi while Jimin dragged Jungkook to the food counter.
"You know Yoongi is so romantic he booked the entire cinema hall for us tonight." Jimin exclaimed while taking food on his plate. "What about you both? How is your life going?" He asked

"Life is going the way it goes. Office work then kids and in the end sleeping, that's how our day ends." Jungkook replied with a small smile taking food on his plate.

"And romance?" Jimin asked

"We are parents now, Jimin. We lived together for these many years. We developed a deep understanding connection. Now gifts and surprise dates are a bit off for us." Jungkook explained.

"Jungkook, whether the wedding happened three years back or thirty years, romance is the key that keeps the couple's heart locked together. You remember once you told me, your father never left any single chance to get romantic with your mother." Jimin said making Jungkook go in deep thoughts.

"Jungkook, you and Taehyung taught me what's true love. If I would have married Taehyung that day, we three would never have been happy in our lives. I suggest you, talk to Taehyung." Jimin said in a truly concerned voice.
