Magnus's Pov

Why did he have to say yes?

Maybe because Aay and Riot begged him to.

But did he really have to give in? He could have just walked away.

But nope, he just had to be asked to follow the AO to the park, and he just had to give in.

It's not like he had anything to do.

What better way than to spend your saturday with the group of people that you hate at the park.

Once they had arrived at the park, Dan had started to ask Questions as to why they were here.

Why were they here?

Nepo Baby(Shun) was kind enough to explain.

But, really, what were they doing here? There had to be a reason.

Magnus looked over to the two boys that were sitting on the bench and saw Ajit pass a paper over to Dan before looking up.

“Hi Magnus,” Ajit said as he waved to Magnus, “nice to see you again”

Magnus waved back just a tad bit before putting his hands back into his pockets.

Magnus looked away from Ajit and onto the other boy that was sitting in the bench

He was staring back.

Dan's eyes were beautiful. How come he never noticed before?

They were the most beautiful pair of eyes he had ever seen.

Something about his eyes. They were blue. A nice color of sapphire. He looks just like a dream.  Magnus liked that color.

They held eye contact for a few seconds before Magnus looked away into the distance

While Magnus had been lost in thought, Riot had made a snarky comment to walking tripod with camera(Lia) and now the park was a battlefield.

Maybe, while the two were cat-fighting and the others were distracted, he could sneak away and spend the day how he wanted to.

Yeah, that sounded like a good idea.

Once Riot had said another snarky comment to walking tripod with camera, Magnus made his escape.

The others were so busy watching the fight unfold, it was easy to go undetected.

At Least that was what Magnus thought.

He almost made it out of the park before someone called out his name.

“Magnus, wait up!” he heard someone from behind call his name.

He turned around and saw that it was none other than Dan Kouzo.

“Leaving so soon?” He asked once he caught up to the ravenette boy

“yeah. I don't want to stay for long.” Magnus said as he turned to leave.

“Why?”

Because I don't fucking like you guys

“Why do you care?” Magnus said as he started walking to the park’s gate to which Dan had started to follow.

God, he needed to leave him alone.

Why is he so pushy as to what Magnus was doing?

“Where are you going?”

“Why are you asking?”

“Because I want to come with”

Magnus stopped walking and turned around to face the younger boy. “Why?”

“Just because”

Magnus glared at the younger boy as a way to tell him to leave him alone.

“How about this. You tell me where you're going, and I leave you again.” Dan proposed.

Magnus thought about it for a second.

Which was worse? Telling Dan his plans, or having Dan follow him the whole day?

Well, he didn't exactly have plans, but he also didn't want to spend his day with the AO.

“I don't have anything planned for the day.” He caved in.

“Great! Let's get ice cream then” Dan said as he grabbed Magnus's arm

Great.

Just Great.

What is wrong with him today? Why is he just saying yes to everything?

He really couldn't have just said no?

“That will be $9.59” The cashier said, making Magnus snap out of his thoughts

“I'll pay” Dan said as he pulled out a ten dollar bill and handed it over to the cashier.

They got their ice cream and sat down on the ice cream parlor's chairs.

“So, why did you ask me to Ice cream?” Magnus asked the brunette.

“I don't know" Dan replied before shoving a spoonful of Ice cream into his mouth, “It was kind of last time”

“Oh”

The two went silent as they ate their ice cream. Although Magnus was with The person he hated the most in the world, he had never felt more calmer.

Was he still mad at Dan for bothering him? Yes. Was he still really relaxed? Yes.

Aside from the usual sound of a person coming in to order something, the ice cream parlor was quiet.

Magnus liked the quiet.

It was relaxing.

“Say, do you think the others are going to be mad that I ditched them?” The silence was broken from the voice of Dan.

“Yes”

“Can I ask you a question?”

“No”

The parlor fell into quietness again as Magnus finished the last of his ice Cream.

He got up and threw the napkin given to him in the trash before leaving

“Hey, Magnus, wait up!” He turned back to face the younger boy that was following him when he heard his name be called.

“What do you want now?”

“I just wanted to say bye. Thank you for agreeing to come with me to get ice cream” Dan said as he flashed a smile.

“I was kinda force to”

“Still, Thank you” Dan smiled.

God what a beautiful smile.
