Part 6

A week later, Lily found herself on a plane with Richard, heading towards Singapore for the business trip. Richard's company was considering a partnership with a leading environmental firm based in Singapore, and Richard thought it would be a great opportunity for Lily to learn more about their work.

The journey was filled with anticipation and excitement. They talked about their expectations for the trip, shared stories about their previous travels, and even managed to catch some sleep on the long flight.

Upon landing in Singapore, they were greeted by a bustling city filled with towering skyscrapers, vibrant street markets, and lush green spaces. Richard had arranged for them to stay at a beautiful hotel located in the heart of the city.

The business meetings were scheduled over the next few days, giving Lily and Richard some time to explore the city. They visited the famous Gardens by the Bay, enjoyed local cuisine at the hawker centers, and even took a night safari at the Singapore Zoo.

During the business meetings, Lily was impressed by the innovative environmental projects the Singaporean firm was working on. She also appreciated Richard's business acumen, his ability to negotiate, and his vision for a sustainable future.

In the evenings, they would discuss the day's events over dinner, their conversations deepening their understanding of each other. Despite the business nature of the trip, there was a sense of intimacy growing between them.

However, they were careful to maintain some distance, respecting each other's space and feelings.

After concluding the business meetings, Richard decided to extend their stay in Singapore for a couple of days. He wanted to take the opportunity to spend more time with Lily, away from the pressures of work and their usual environment.

He arranged for a day out on a yacht, hoping that the serene waters and the beautiful skyline of Singapore would provide a perfect backdrop for their day.

The morning sun was shining brightly as they boarded the yacht.

"Richard! This is beautiful!" She smiled at him with an excitement on her face.

"I know.." Richard smiley replied to her and still looking at her while boarding on the yacht.

He then followed her and give the things he carried to the crews of the boat.

The yacht was luxurious, equipped with all the amenities, and offered a stunning view of the Singapore skyline.

"Oh my gosh! This is magnificent!" Lily while still stun from the environment.

"Amelia used to love this place." He said while pouring champagne on a white glass wine.

The smile on her face suddenly began to fade when she heard her name.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yep. The fact, this is her favorite place on earth. And i will take you there." He looked at Lily with a beautiful smile on his face.

Lily, couldn't resist Richards charm and smiled at him back.

As they sailed into the open waters, they enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the deck. The gentle breeze, the sound of the waves, and the warm sunlight created a peaceful ambiance.

They spent the day exploring the yacht, sunbathing on the deck, and even trying their hand at fishing. The casual setting allowed them to engage in deeper conversations, sharing personal stories.

Richard was particularly touched when Lily opened up about her childhood, her journey into environmental conservation, and her vision for a greener planet. He admired her passion and her dedication, and it made him appreciate her even more.
