"Wait, so you're telling me that is THE Sam Witwicky?"
Ray Lark was a normal teenager until a trip to the movie theater brought her to another world-to the Transformer World.
Now Ray and her boyfriend, Noah, are about to go on the adventure of their...
I eyed the two older teens sitting in front of me at the table. The rest of the squad was packing up and back up had finally arrived to bring us home . Folding my arms I raised an eyebrow. "You want me to believe that you two were out on your own just randomly exploring the Sahara desert. On your own."
"Uh...yes?" The boy nervously scratched his head. His sister facepalmed.
With a sigh she shook her head at me, "Look Sergeant Lennox, my brother and I were with a tour group, we saw Scorponok in the distance and wanted to get a close look," her tone was soft. "We didn't realize we wandered too far from our group."
"A tour group hmm?" I frowned. The girl was more confident than the boy and a better liar but still I saw they were hiding something. "Then how do you know that metal creature's name?"
"We nicknamed it that, we don't know the Deception's actual name," the girl insisted.
"Decepticon?" I was even more suspicious now.
"What's a decepticon?" Epps asked as he passed by, giving the girl a hard stare .

The girl's face paled and she realized she had messed up. The word was foreign to my tongue. "Decepticon"
"Lennox!" I was interpreted by Epps as he hastily entered the room, speaking in a tense voice. "Home base is ready to fly us back. There's trouble going on there, they need us."
"Trouble?" I did not dare ask what he meant in front of the teens.
"Like our metal friend here," Epps face was grim. "His relatives decided to visit California. Captain said, " We were ordered to leaving at five."
I nodded and turned to the siblings in front of me. Scowling I shook my head. "Until we clear things up you two are coming back with us. We will then continue the interrogation."
The girl opened her mouth to speak but I held up my hand. "Save your breath.. Maybe you too can think up more excuses for how you randomly happened to be touring the desert."

AMY
From where we both sat in the back hanger of the cargo fighter jet, I glared besides me at my brother.
"Nice going with the whole touring the desert idea," I scolded. Glancing around at the handful of men in camo who sat on benches around us, I noticed all were focused among themselves.
I leaned closer towards my brother, as far as the flight straps holding me in place would allow. "Don't you realize how much trouble we'd be in if they found out we were teleported into this world?!"
Alex shrugged, crossing his arms over his chest. Leaning back in his seat he whispered back, "It's not my fault. I don't control whatever teleporter machine brought us here."
I rolled my eyes, "Alex you know what I mean. Remember that time we were brought back into the bumblebee 2018 movie world? You and I?"
Alex tilted his head, "Yeah, and you made me promise to not tell Ray about it because she would freak out."
sighing, I nodded, gesturing around the room with my eyes. "Well these guys will all freak out if they are not already suspicious after you "two teens touring the desert" explanation."
Calm as ever, Alex raised his eyebrows in a way that always infuriated me. "Well there's no convincing them now. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Then we can try to figure out the best course of action."
I watched as the twenty year old pulled his phone from his pocket and began fiddling with it.
My eyes widened, "What are you doing?!" I hissed. Did he not realize we were back in 2007, where an iphone15 didn't exist?
"Letting mom know we won't be home for dinner since we are staying with friends," Alex explained matter of factly.
Face palming, I looked through my hand to see one of the men across the bench from us staring hard at Alex.
"Alex...." I spoke through gritted teeth. "Put it away drawing their attention...your phone doesn't exist in this world yet!"
"Opps," Hastily my brother shoved the device into his pocket and chuckled nervously.
Suddenly I heard a buzzing...growing louder by the second...and it was...coming from Alex's pocket?
The soldiers around us shifted.
"Alex..." my voice was tense, and I tried to stop my racing heart. I didn't even want to think what would happen if the soldiers discovered Alex's strange phone–we would probably be thrown into some confinement cell!
The phone's buzzing grew louder, turning into a rumbling.
"Alex....shut that off," I elbowed him.
"I'm trying!" Alex hissed, fumbling with his flannel shirt's pocket.
The phone vibrated one more time than...silence.
Worriedly I bit my lip, glancing around. All the soldiers had returned back to their state of perpetual guard-eyes seemingly staring nowhere-shoulders stiff as if ready at a moment's notice to get up and run into battle.
Thank goodness they didn't notice his phone. Relieved, I slumped in my seat. But my rest was short lived.
All at once there was a loud swell of orchestra beats.
"I ain't worried 'bout it right now (right now)
Swimming' in the floods, dancing on the clouds below
I ain't worried 'bout it
I ain't worried 'bout it"
One Republic's masterpiece from Top Gun Maverick began blaring loudly.
All eyes were on us now.
Alex swiftly pulled the phone out of his pocket and held it to his ear. "Hey dude, sup?"
"Alex!" I snapped at him, grabbing his shoulder. Seriously? He was going to talk on the phone, right now?
"Oh uh right," Alex met my gaze, "I'll talk to you later Miles, yup, by."
"He-he," Chuckling nervously, Alex glanced around at all the narrowed sets of eyes on us. "It's a prototype I made–easier than the old flip phones you guys use..."
At my sibling's explanation, I facepalmed. Oh brother, this was not going to end well.
