Author's POV

“Maharaj, Maharani, bhojan aayojit ho chuka hai,” a dasi entered the sabha to alert the Royal family.

“Avashye chaliye, humne itne samay se bhojan toh kya jal bhi gerhan nahi kara hai,” Dau sighed sarcastically with a sad look, causing everyone to laugh again at his face.

“Aapka toh pata nahi Dau apitu Arjun ke karan main Vijay Nagar aane pehle kisi bhi vastu ka sevan nahi kar paya kyuki usne sara bhojan Indraprastha main hi rakh liya, jiske karan meri kshuda aapse adhik hai,” Kanha cried hugging his stomach and Dau face palmed at his stupid acts.

“Toh vilambh kyu karna? Chaliye bhojanaalye mein. Aaj ki sabha samapt hui,” Maharaj announced, ending the sabha as the sabha jan slowly took their leave.

Reaching to the Bhojanaalya, everyone took their seats except Dwarikadhish, as Ruhi was still to come.

“Vilasini, jao Shri ko bula lao,” Maharani ordered the dasi standing on her side when Kanha spoke.

“Nahi maate, main Shri ko leke aata hu,” he walked away from the room and went to Shri's room.

“Shr-” he stopped upon seeing her laid on the bed with a pillow over her face.

“Ha?” Shri asked sitting up not seeing it was Kanha calling her.

When her eyes caught him standing on the door she stood up in a blink of an eye.

“H-ha Dwarikadhish?” she she whispered, her eyes glued to the floor as Kanha walked up to her.

“Dwarikadhish? Arya se sidha Dwarikadhish?” he muttered with one eyebrow up as he tilted her face up by her chin.

On seeing his face, Shri's face went pink and she turned her face to the side.

Already loving her pinkish face, Kanha chortled and picked her up in his arms.

Bamboozled by the sudden movement, Shri wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Bhojan karogi ki nahi?” he questioned nuzzling his nose against her's.

Nodding in disagreement she looked away as his handsome face, that too so near to her, was making her feel light-headed.

“Maine kaha kab ki mana bhi kar sakti ho?” he grinned ear to ear walking outside the room.

“Dwarik-” Shri wasn't able to complete as he gave her a almost glare look.

“Dwarikadhish nahi re baba. Keshav hi bula lo na. Arya ya Nath to bulaogi nahi,” he expressed with a sad face.

“Aap mujhe niche utariye. Kisi ne hume aise dekha toh kya kahenge?” she whispered looking around to see if anyone was there and listening to them.

“Thik hai. Lekin usse pehle Keshav bulana padega, nahi toh aise hi leke chalunga. Baba, Maata aur Adwait ne dekha toh kya kahenge?” he spoke cheekily as Shri blushed yet again.

“Keshav, utariye niche,” she spoke, her gaze kept down.

Putting her on her feet, Krishn presses a kiss against her forehead which made her blush more.

Coming to her side and holding her hand tightly yet softly in his own, both walked to the Bhojanaalya as Shri still kept blushing.
