🌪️
2 weeks into the school year and Class 1-A has already encountered a villain attack at the USJ. After skipping orientation and heading straight to exercises, they managed to quickly get their lives in danger too in just a span of days. Now, Miyabi has no idea how Aizawa is handling that class but, talk about a series of unfortunate events.
Apparently the homeroom teacher himself was beat up half to death. All might and the pro heroes came late so a lot of the students were scathed and injured too. That's the hero industry for you. Bunch of show offs that fail in doing their jobs most of the time. What was it with the schools security system, anyway? U.A. doesn't seem as safe as they say, huh.
"Those 1-A freaks. I bet you they're having the time of their lives showing off their experience with villains!" Neito speaks up in annoyance. The whole post-attack fiasco was broadcasted on tv. And some of the students were asked to give a few words regarding what happened.
Unlike Neito who seemed heavily annoyed and even jealous, all Miyabi could feel was pity. I mean seriously— not even a month in and they're already targeted by villains? "Neito-kun, that's rude to say. They're probably traumatized by the experience, you know. Don't go assuming their state for them." She sighs in concern.
Shoto was a part of that class, and even though Miyabi was one of the only few who knew how strong he is, she can't help but worry. She hasn't even talked to him in a while, maybe she should check on him.
She hummed in agreement with herself about checking up on Shoto before turning to Monoma who was sulking like a kid. "You shouldn't be jealous." That made her blonde friend look at her in offense. "Excuse me? Me? Jealous? HAH. YOU'RE KIDDING ME—"
"Don't try and use aggression on me." She looks at him with sternness as she takes a sip of her water. "What they experienced wasn't a joke. If you'd like to have your life endangered by villains, be my guest. But it is extremely rude of you to assume that they're having the time of their lives because the media is feasting on them. Someone could've seriously died."
Monoma continued to frown at her before sighing and backing down. He could never really do anything because she's always right. "Sorry. It's just that, I think we're being treated quite unfairly. Why do they get to experience training in such a place like the USJ? While we're stuck here waiting for a moment to shine or something."
At a certain point his feelings were valid. But the homeroom teachers have the ability to run their class however they want. And it wasn't their fault Mr. Vlad was a traditional teacher.
"Just because we go by the book, doesn't mean we're falling behind. 1-A being able to experience actual combat sure is an advantage, but that just means they'll soon fall behind the academic standards. We can engage in combat training on our own and still be as good at it as they are without having to be in danger." She further explained.
Genuinely, Miyabi was quite worried for the other class. Because while they're probably forming bonds through several unfortunate events, her class is forming it in a safe environment.
"Besides, there's the sports festival coming up. We'll have our chance then."
Her statement made Monoma a bit more calm as he sighed in understanding and nodded. Miyabi was one of the smartest he knew, and he always enjoyed her wise lectures. "You're right, I guess."
"I know, I'm right."
"Ugh, whatever. That doesn't seem to be stopping everyone else from practically mobbing 1-A, though." He says while nodding his head towards the hoard of students outside the classroom. Even those who weren't in the hero course was lined up outside of Class 1-A.
