Minnie Quinn sat at her desk in the classroom, completely absorbed in her daydreams. In her mind, Liam and Ethan were more than just friends; they were deeply in love. She imagined them sharing secret glances and gentle touches, their romance unfolding like the pages of her favorite Boys Love manga. The scenes played out vividly, filling her with joy and excitement.

"Hey, Minnie, wake up!" Noah's voice broke through her reverie, gently shaking her shoulder.

Startled, Minnie blinked and looked around, realizing she was still in the classroom. The bell hadn't even rung yet. "Noah! Why did you wake me up?" she protested, her annoyance clear.

"There's a new student starting today," Noah explained, leaning in conspiratorially. "And from what I've heard, he's even more handsome than Liam."

Minnie frowned, her annoyance turning to curiosity. "More handsome than Liam? Is that even possible?"

Before Noah could answer, the classroom buzzed with whispers and excitement. All eyes turned towards the doorway as the new student made his entrance. The hallway seemed to part for him, students moving aside as if he were some kind of deity. He walked with an air of confidence, an almost ethereal glow about him that made Minnie squint.

As the new student approached, Minnie's eyes began to water from the brightness. She rubbed them a few times and adjusted her glasses. When her vision cleared, she gasped in shock. "Kai! Is that you?!"

The boy turned to look at her, his expression surprised. He didn't seem to recognize her at first. "It's me, Kai. Minnie!" she exclaimed, her heart pounding with excitement and disbelief.

Kai's eyes widened as he finally recognized her. The realization dawned slowly, but he managed a smile. "Oh, wow, Minnie. I can't believe it's you."

Without hesitation, Minnie rushed forward and gave him a bear hug. "I've missed you so much!" she said, her voice muffled against his shoulder.

Kai, clearly uncomfortable and a bit embarrassed by her reaction, awkwardly patted her back

Kai, clearly uncomfortable and a bit embarrassed by her reaction, awkwardly patted her back. "Uh, yeah. It's good to see you too, Minnie."

As the final chime of the electric bell resonated through the halls, students gathered their belongings and settled into their seats, ready for the start of class. Kai gave her a small smile. "I'll see you around," he said before heading to his seat.

Minnie watched him go, her heart still racing. She couldn't believe her childhood best friend was back. Turning to Noah, she couldn't contain her happiness. "I can't believe it! Kai's back!"

Noah chuckled, shaking his head. "You and your dramatic reunions. Come on, let's focus on the lesson."

Minnie tried to concentrate, but her mind kept drifting back to Kai. She felt like floating in the air, the happiness of seeing him again filling her with renewed joy. Minnie felt ready to take on anything with her old friend back and new adventures on the horizon.

During lunch, Minnie could hardly contain her excitement. She was eager to find Kai and catch up on everything they had missed during the years he had been away. She scanned the cafeteria, hoping to spot him among the throng of students.

Noah, sitting next to her, tried to get her attention. "Minnie, can you pass me the ketchup?" he asked, but she was too distracted to hear him. He sighed, feeling a pang of jealousy. Noah had been Minnie's best friend for the past few years, and Kai's sudden reappearance made him feel sidelined. "He can't just come back and steal Minnie back," Noah thought, his grip tightening on his sandwich.

A sudden clash echoed through the cafeteria, drawing everyone's attention. Minnie turned to see what had happened and spotted Kai standing in the middle of a mess. He had bumped into Liam, the most popular boy in school, spilling his lunch tray all over Liam's clothes.

Liam's face twisted in surprise and annoyance as he looked down at the food stains on his shirt. Kai's face turned a deep shade of red, and he stammered, "I-I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going."

Minnie's eyes lit up as she watched the scene unfold. She saw the perfect BL moment in her mind: Liam and Kai bumping into each other and apologizing, and then their eyes met. They stared into each other's eyes and, at that moment, fell in love.

Noah notices Minnie's expression and feels his jealousy grow. "Minnie, seriously? You're imagining them as a couple now?" he muttered, but she was too absorbed in her fantasy to notice.

Liam, his annoyance fading, sighed and forced a smile. "It's okay. Accidents happen," he said, looking directly into Kai's eyes. Kai, still embarrassed, managed to smile back.

For a moment, they stood there, staring at each other. To Minnie, it was as if time had stopped. She could almost see the spark of connection between them. Her heart fluttered with excitement as she imagined the scene in her manga.

Seeing the dreamy look on Minnie's face, Noah couldn't take it anymore. "Come on, Minnie. Our food is getting cold," he said, grabbing her arm and pulling her away.

"But Noah, did you see that? It was perfect!" Minnie exclaimed, her eyes still glued to Liam and Kai.

Noah sighed, feeling defeated. "Yeah, I saw it. But you don't have to turn everything into a romance."

Minnie finally tore her gaze away and looked at Noah, noticing the hurt in his eyes. "Oh, Noah. I'm sorry. I just got carried away. I didn't mean to ignore you."

Noah forced a smile. "It's okay, Minnie. I get it. You're excited about Kai being back. Just... don't forget about me, okay?"

Minnie hugged him. "I could never forget about you, Noah. You're my best friend."

They found their table and sat down, but Minnie's mind kept reverting to the scene she had just witnessed. She couldn't wait to get home and start sketching it out. The idea of Liam and Kai as a couple filled her with inspiration.

As they ate, Minnie kept glancing at Liam and Kai, who were now sitting together and talking. She felt a surge of excitement and hope. Maybe her daydreams weren't just fantasies. They could become a reality.

Noah watched her, feeling a mix of frustration and resignation. He knew he couldn't compete with the allure of her daydreams and manga fantasies. But he also knew that he would always be there for her, no matter what.

The rest of the lunch period passed, with Minnie lost in her thoughts of potential romance and Noah silently supporting her, hoping their friendship would endure whatever the future held.
