Princess Mask Cosmos: The Final Chapter: The forest mountain fire

Chapter 4- At the hospital/They're still finding the culprit in the forest...

The next morning at the hospital, we walked to the main entrance. I had a blanket on to keep me warm just in case.

"How can I help you, ma'am?" she said.

"Last week, my future stepdaughter had a broken hand again and started feeling sick, and then it started getting worse and worse." Lauren said.

"Okay. And you're Lauren Wesley, isn't that right?"

"Yes."

"I can have you park in the dedicated parking spot by the ambulance entrance."

"Thank you."

Meanwhile, in Michiru's apartment along with her friends, she is still tracking the culprit of what caused the fire.

"I saw an orange flame. I think it was matches that caused the fire." she said.

"You're right. We need to go outside to find out why he or she caused it." Sestuna said.

"But not if we wear spy disguises..." Haurka said as she smiled.

"Mamoru-san, this mission might be a little dangerous for you, so stay behind with Ami-chan and Minako-chan, okay?" Hotaru said and asked.

"Okay." he said.

"Be careful." Ami said.

"We will." Michiru said.

Back at the hospital, we were in the hospital bed one hour later after she slept, but I was worried about Train and Eve.

"Will Train and Eve be back soon?" I asked.

"They'll be back soon. Don't worry." she said.

I coughed hard again.

"But my fever will never be down... I wish it would be better. And my hand still hurts bad."

"I know, sweetie-pie. I know. You'll be better soon, I promise." she said as she rubbed my back.

Just then, a doctor came in.

"Hello? I'm here to see Alexis Akinola, right?"

"Yes."

"Zoey! You're the one who was here that Lauren had the rose curse again the other time while Mamoru and I were age-switched... again."

"You're right, Alexis..."

"Anyway, I need to check your hand first. When did it hurt last?"

"Last time, she was at the baseball stadium with the others. But this time, she was in the forest playing hide and seek. Maybe she tripped on a rock. That's the one that caused it."

"I'll check the x-ray very soon." she said.

She left.

"I don't get it, Lauren. There was something strange in the forest last week. While playing hide and seek, I saw matches and an orange flame before I tripped on this rock."

"Michiru and the others are investigating the culprit to find out who did it."

"Didn't they go with Mamoru?"

"No. Hotaru said to him he has to stay behind with Ami and Minako."

Meanwhile, in the forest, they peeked in the trees.

"I hope it will not be a kid who caused the fire. Kids should never play with matches." Sestuna said.

"I agree." Haurka said.

Just then, a culprit appeared!

"Hey, you! Come back here!" Hotaru said.

They ran and ran, but it was no use. The culprit was running fast.

"It looks like he or she was faster than I thought." Michiru said.

"New plan. It looks like we need to split up. Me and Haurka will go in the left direction, Michiru and Hotaru, you go in the right direction." Sestuna said.

"Okay." they said.

In Michiru's house, they are tracking her computer to find out where they are, but he's still worried about Lauren and me.

"Will Lauren and Alexis come back?" he asked.

"Alexis caught a fever last week... again. But I'm sure they will be back soon." Ami said.

"Right... I hope they catch the cul—"

"Mamoru-san, they're on their own now." Minako said.

Back at the hospital, Zoey came back for my x-ray.

"If I'm saying you're correct, Ms. Wesley, the cause of the rock of it tripped and fell before her hand was hurt."

I saddened. I was distracted and worried about the others.

"I need to tell you something, Lauren."

"What is it?"

"I am worried I'm going to miss Mamoru and the others."

"I know, sweetie-pie. I'm sure you'll see them again."

I smiled a little.
