One week later...
It has been one week since I broke my right hand, and I was in Lauren's apartment. But a minute later, I was not feeling well, and I coughed.
Mamoru came in.
"What's wrong?"
"Mamoru, I think I am sick... again. Can you call Lauren for me?"
"Sure, kiddo. She's on her way home at the Jubban Shopping District."
Meanwhile, Lauren was done shopping at the Jubban Shopping District. One minute later, she heard Mamoru run by.
"Lauren, Lauren!"
"Oh, Mamoru. I was on my way home. What's up?"
"Alexis is not feeling well... again. She's in your bedroom."
"What? In my bedroom? Alexis is not feeling well?"
Back in Lauren's apartment, Michiru knocked on the door.
"Come in." I said weakly.
"Alexis, what's wrong?" she asked as she came in.
"Last week, we were playing hide and seek, so I tripped over a rock, broke my hand, and I—"
Just as I was about to finish my sentence, Lauren and Mamoru came in, too.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"No, Lauren. I think I'm sick... again."
She felt my forehead.
"Aw... I know, sweetie-pie. Michiru called me earlier this morning."
"Is there anything we can do to help her?" Mamoru asked.
"Michiru, why don't you make her a bottle of honey-lemon tea, and you can call and ask Hotaru to help make her spicy—"
I interrupted Lauren.
"No, thank you. I don't like spicy stuff. Can you please make a curry that doesn't have any?"
"Don't worry. I'll see what I can do. I will call Hotaru to see if she can help me."
Bold- Michiru
Italics- Hotaru
"Hello?"
"Mommy Michru, what's the matter?"
"Can you come to Ms. Wesley's apartment right now, please?"
"What is it?"
"Alexis is not feeling well."
"Aw... while we were playing hide and seek last week, she broke her hand... again. Last time, she was playing baseball with the others at the stadium."
"I see. I guess I'll see you later."
"See you soon."
She ended the call with Hotaru.
Five minutes later, Hotaru knocked on the door.
"Come in!"
"Hi, Ms. Wesley. What's wrong with Alexis?"
"She not feeling well... again."
"Don't worry. I know how to make a hot curry that doesn't have spicy stuff." Michiru said.
"I'll help you, too."
They gathered the ingredients together in Lauren's kitchen, but she heard a ding on her phone from the bacon curry video recipe Train sent this morning. It said:
"I hope Alexis will like the spicy bacon curry, but you can skip it and move on to the other ingredients. I received a message from Ms. Wesley. She's not feeling well... again. I hope she or you guys can make her feel better. Thank you."

She put her phone away in her pocket.
"I wonder if Alexis is okay with vegetables and salt?"
"I think she'll be fine when it comes to both."
After Michiru makes the beef curry...
"You go on ahead with the curry. I'll make the honey-lemon tea." Hotaru said.
"Okay."
Just then, we heard a knock on her door.
"I made you some bacon curry, Alexis. Do you want rice to go with it?"
"Sure."
Hotaru came in carefully with a bottle of honey-lemon tea.
"I even made you some honey-lemon tea."
"Thanks, Hotaru."
Michiru came in again with a bowl of rice.
"Here."
"Thank you. The bacon curry helps, too. I remembered the last time I was sick, Lauren gave me some chicken rice curry."
"You're right... Anyway, we need to take good care of her, just in case it gets even worse. It will probably be a good idea to stay away from her."
"Sure. We'll be going now, Ms. Wesley. Have a great day." Michiru said.
"You both, too."
She closed the door behind Hotaru.
"How was your day in the forest?"
"It didn't go so well. She tripped over a rock and it hit her hand... again."
"Oh... I see. But it would be best if you were very careful next time, sweetie. Okay?" Lauren warned me.
"Okay. I think I finished plenty of the curry. Can you put it in the refrigerator for me?"
"Sure."
"Drink the honey-lemon tea before it gets cold or warm." Mamoru said.
I drank some of the tea and I gave it back to Lauren.
Forty minutes later before night falls, I am even worse than before. I coughed and sneezed worse and worse.
"Kiddo!" Mamoru said.
Lauren came in again.
"Sweetie-pie!" she said.
"I *cough cough* am *cough cough* okay, I don't need to go to *cough cough* the hospital tomorrow morning..."
"Oh, no... I think you're even worse than before." she said.
She felt my forehead again.
"You're burning up. Let me take your temperature."
After she got the thermometer...
"I hope her fever is not going way too high..." he thought.
"Okay, now we wait—"
*Beep, beep, beep, ding*
"And time's up. One hundred and twenty-five degrees... this is way too high than it was before. If my temperature reading is correct, I think you need to go to a hospital tomorrow morning."
"Really?"
"I don't want your fever to get even worse. What if you burn up like a volcano?" she said and asked seriously.
I thought like a volcano like Lauren said.
"Ow, my head will be dead forever! But not anymore." I thought seriously.
"Lauren's right. I hope you get better soon tomorrow."
"Thanks, Mamoru. Starting tomorrow morning, why don't you go to Michiru's house, just to be on the safe side?"
"I think that's a great idea."
